Additional points for State Sponsorship

Good day. Tanong ko lang if may makakapagbigay sa amin ng suggestion. Currently we lack 5 points for SS sa SA for Visa489. Yung SA amd Tasmania nlang kasi ang state na open for marketing specialist. What hinders us to proceed sa Tas is yung requirement nila na dapat may job offer or close family, which is parehong wala ako nun.

English 10 pts
Education 15 pts
Experience 10 pts
Sponsorship (10 pts)

Tanong ko lang is if may iba pa ba kami option to acquire the 5 points? Sabi ng agent namin is yo retake daw ng English exam. Naka ilang takes narin ako and hindi umaabot sa Superior English.

@onehitwonder how about partner's point kasi plus 5 points din yun? but i suggest the easiest way is to try to aim for superior kasi plus 10 agad yun. madamr dito naka ilang times magtake meron 10 or more bago nila makuha ung superior.

@akoaypinoy Dentist kasi wife ko dito sa pinas, pina assess na namin sa ADC yung school and work background nya. Pero kailangan pa daw nya magtake muna ng dental exam sa AU bago kmi makapagclaim ng points sa spouse.

Mag retake na ako ng PTE most likely next month. Sana nga makakuha na ng superior this time.

@onehitwonder Nag-iinvite ang NT ng Marketing Specialist for visa 489. Baka gusto mong iconsider. Free lang application pero matagal mag-aantay for a decision.

@onehitwonder May nakasulat na ganito sa website nila:

The NT Government can nominate you as a skilled migrant if you have an occupation on the NT Migration Occupation List.

The NT Government can also nominate you if your occupation is not on the NT Migration Occupation List but it is on the Australian Government's current list of eligible skilled occupations and you have:

- skills and experience relevant to the NT
- strong evidence of positive employment prospects in the NT either in your skilled occupation or a closely related skilled occupation
- a demonstrated commitment to living and working in the NT

@onehitwonder dapat alam na ng agent nyo yan kahit di mo pakita. dapat si agent ang nag hahanap ng paraan pano makapasok sa AU with your current points and situation. Just saying..

@maguero Sabi ni agent napaka selective daw ng NT, may idea ka daw if ano mga occupations ng mga nanominate dun?
Totoo ba na makakatulong sa application if may relatives or friends kami sa NT?

@onehitwonder Selective ang NT in the sense na they want to ensure the applicant will really stay in NT. May post si @RheaMARN1171933 sa NT thread about what NT is looking for.

Hindi ako familiar sa mga occupations na iniinvite nila pero sigurado ako na may mga Marketing Specialists na nainvite this fiscal year. Kaya rin naman ako nag-apply sa NT kasi alam ko na kinoconsider nila yung occupation natin.

If mag-aapply ka sa SA, wag mo na patagalin. Earlier this year 75 points lang requirement. Nung July, naging 80 points. Ngayon 85 na. Baka next month iba nanaman.

@onehitwonder Sa pagkakaintindi ko, NT offers visa 190 if may relative doon or may job offer. Otherwise, visa 489 ang offer nila.

Oo, nainform din ako ni agent na it will help if may relative or friend sa NT. Pero as of now wala ako kilala sa NT.

Oo, nabasa ko yung transition ng pagtaas ng points ng SA, pero lately lang kasi lumabas yung result ng VETASSESS and EOI ko.

Marketing Specialist ka rin pala? Nagtry ka magapply via seek?

@onehitwonder Do you mean hanap ng employer para makakuha ng work visa? I-aabolish na kasi next year yung visa 457 and ang understanding ko dun sa ipapalit ay wala nang pathway yung occupation natin from a work visa to a PR visa. Sayang naman kung nandun na pero hindi pwede maging PR.
