hi, question lang about claiming points for work.

I have June 2011 - Feb 2016 experience, total of 4 years 8 months. Then sabi ng ACS only employment after June 2013 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled
level and relevant to 261313 (Software Engineer) of the ANZSCO Code. So it would mean 2 years is deducted and only 2 years and 8 months will be considered for points. Do I need to declare pa din sa immi form ung 2 years na kinuha ng ACS? Does it mean i-separate ko pa sya dun sa 2 years and 8 months na relevant?

Question lang sa mga nakapag submit na ng EOI or na Grant na. yung sa assessment ko kasi ng skills from ACS last june eh nasa 7yrs and 8 months total work experience ang na credit. since ngayon lang ako mag susubmit ng EOI pede ko ba ma claim na more than 8ys na work experience para mas mataas na yung points? Hello,
I would just like to confirm with you guys if my chances of migrating or even being just invited to apply for PR in Australia is slim, I am planning to move alone, single with 5 years of IT - Analyst Programmer experience and graduated from a "Section 3" school, has no overseas professional experience. Based on my points, I have no chance of being invited to apply for a PR right? I have been looking through SEEK for jobs that might offer sponsorship but it seems that my only chance is to get a student visa and study in Australia first and hopefully, land a permanent job after.. How much would I need for this option (tuition + accomodation + living expenses)? or maybe is there another option I could try?

@jmban33 I think you misinterpreted the word "Overseas Professional Experience". It just means any professional working experience outside of Australia. So it means meron ka ng 5 years Overseas Professional Experience which is equivalent to 5 points.

So you do have a slim chance of getting an outright PR depending on your age and if you have a bachelors degree or not. Assuming you are within 25 to 32 years old and have a bachelors degree then your points total will be as below:

Age = 30
Work Experience = 5
English = 10 (you can actually get 20 here is you get Superior English Result, Difficult but doable based on my own experience)
Education = 15

So this is 60 points already, sadly that may not be enough for you to be selected in the EOI pool due to an overwhelming number of applicants.

There are other options though. You can try to get 20 points in English as I did, or try to secure a State Nomination. State Nomination will not only give you an extra 5 points, but it will automatically get you the coveted ITA (Invitation to Apply for Visa) but based on my experience it is not that easy to get. But I did apply with Victoria and NSW only though, so I can't say how hard or easy it is to get nominations for other states.

I think he was referring to my inquiry.. anyways, I think the chances of getting an employer to sponsor my working visa is slim as well.. the only option left would be to get a student visa and study first? how much do I need for this including living expenses?

Another question, I'm turning 33 this coming April so hinahabol ko na sana magka invite or grant(hopefully) before my birthday.

Let's say I got an invite before my birthday but then my 33rd birthday came without the grant. should I update my claim of points for age? mababawasan na ba dapat? or safe na siya since I got an invite before I turned 33?

@Noodles12 hi me again if you lodged before your bday and youu still havnt gotten any invite until it reached your bday normally the case is it will just auto compute. If im not mistaken they will also send a notification but to be sure you need to check and hange it manually other wise if not change 100% you be rej cted during visa apps. Of course one of the cons po is you'll be at the end of the line again with you editng for lower score

Yes your EOI will revert to SUBMITTED status.

@chiffonscarf after you receive two invitations and do not lodge visa on either invitations your EOI Skillselect will be removed, i suggest you use the suspend button if you feel that you're not yet ready to lodge anytime soon

@tweety11 just a clarification, so if I got invited to apply for a visa (nde pa lodge ah) before my 33rd birthday. safe na yung claim ng points ko for the age, regardless kung nde pa ako ma grant at mag birthday na?

also, baka masagot niyo din. since I'm already resigned with my current company (included with my assessment). pag ilalagay ko na yung work history sa EOI ko for the future employer (not included sa assessment) nde ko ma claclaim ng points for the new employer noh? since hindi siya nasama sa pina assess ko.

would greatly appreciate if you could give some advice and clarification with our case.

Nag-apply kami for PR last Sept. 2015 with this points:

Age- 30pts
English- 0pts (tried 1*IELTS but no luck; 6*PTE 3 subsets were 70+ scores pero naiwan speaking ko 64)
Qualification/Degree in Phil- 15pts
Experience- 10pts
**State Nomination NSW- 5pts
_____________________________Total: 60pts

Until now wala pa din kaming invite obviously dahil wala pang score sa english + 65 na ngayon ang hinihinging base score for Computer and Network Systems Engineer

The main questions are:
nung ni-lodge namin to it was under our agent kasi clueless pa kami at takot mag lodge by ourselves possible kaya na ma-access namin yung account namin to see for ourselves yung EOI Application without asking our agent kasi gusto na namin umalis sa agent namin but we dont want to burn bridges.

Tapos nung ni-lodge namin yung EOI offshore ako, ngayon andito na ko sa Sydney taking Master degree IT. May effect kaya yun sa application namin?

Plus kaka-kasal ko lang sa gf ko last 20 Dec. '16, nung nagapply ako ng EOI even student visa di ko sya na declare in any of my papers same with her (nasa Sydney na sya for 3years di din ako declared sa mga application nya). We've been together for 6 years and 10 months. May effect din ba yun sa papers ng PR application ko?

@RPhwithOZdream there is no way to get an access sa existing EOI na ginawa ni agent unless ibibigay nya login credentials. If I were you, I will secure my skill assessment outcome (if wala ka pang kopya nito), create a new EOI and process the visa application myself. Just tell your agent that you want to cease with his professional service.

Try to gain more points either from english test, work or masteral studies. Also, be on the lookout for states that will open their sponsorships on your nominated occupation to have a shot for visa 190 as well.

@Noodles12 yes, pag nakareceive ka na ng ITA before mag33, ok na yun. 30pts ka na for age. Yung question mo about employment, depende ata to sa assessing body. May mga assessing body ata na required na may relevant skilled employment.

Hi, I just want to ask if kailangan magpakita ng proof of fund kapag state sponsorship ng NSW? wala kaseng nkalagay sa website nila unlike sa ibang state. and pwede bang pagsabaying ang EOI ng 189 at 190? Thank you in advance sa help

@batman may mga assessing body na di required ang relevant skilled employment. EA for example. Kung ganun ang case, pwede magclaim ng points sa current employment kahit di sya kasama sa pinaassess basta sure ka na related yun sa nominated occupation mo at supported by docs. Opinion ko lang

Hello po, sa mga married ladies na kumuha ng NBI clearance dito sa Philippines, may I ask kung ano ang ginamit nyo sa NBI nyo? Was it the married name na, or maiden name nyo pa? May field kasi dun na husband's family name diba. Thanks in advance!

@towbee Family Name is yung sa maiden name pa rin. Initially I put my married name na, then they changed it back sa maiden name since meron naman daw husband's surname na field na.

Alright, thanks for the info @ladymamba24! So with this, technically, lalabas pa rin ang aking full maiden name (given, middle, surname). Di naman to magkakaissue with dibp noh, considering my passport reflects my married name na?
