Hi guys! Finally after months of asking and reading around in the forum for tips, gagraduate na ako sa June! Pwede na ako mag apply haha. So in the coming days maghahanap na ako ng review center for IELTS. And balak ko mag apply ng visa 189 e. So eto ang steps na balak ko gawin. BTW my point breakdown is:

Age-25
Education-15
English proficiency- 20 hopefully!

1. IELTS review (kailangan ko maka 20 para umabot ako sa 60 pts)
2. Assess sa EA (ECE grad ako)
3. Submit sa DIBP

My question is paano ko maipapadala sa EA yung results ng IELTS ko? Do they give a code or something? Many thanks guys Godbless

@MLBS you have to have the test result form scanned and uploaded in the same way that you upload other credentials required for assessment...

Hello po, may gusto lang po ako ihingi ng advice or opinion. I saw this on DIBP website;

"Your child or stepchild is considered to be dependent if they continue to be wholly or substantially reliant on you for their basic needs (food, clothing and shelter)."


What if I am overseas, not married(no more communication) pero may daughter na nasa pinas, minor, pero living in her mother's family. I just support her tuition fees. She will not be included in the application.

Does that mean I should consider her as "non-dependent"?

hi @kuya.king since ikaw ang nagpapaaral sa kanya, education is still part of the basic need. andyan kasi yan sa 10 rights of the child so dependent sya sayo.. opinion ko lang din po. ^^

@MissOZdreamer Your health clearance is usually valid for 12 months. However, if you are asked to sign a health undertaking, your health clearance is valid for six months.

@MissOZdreamer thank you! visa 189, 2331 (telco engr), 65 points lang kasi di ko na inayos yung ielts ko.haha tapos di pa ko umabot ng 8 yrs sa work exp.

@jiomariano Thanks man! AFAIK tatlo kami dito sa forum na nagbalak mag AU right after grad e. Yung isa nabasa ko lang e, na grant daw sya by using school projects in his CDR. Yung isa naman I have talked to, he's a UP grad and nasa Brisbane na sya under 476 visa. Nakuha din nya is positive outcome recently lang sa EA and school projects lang din CDRs niya. Hopefully all goes well for me too UST grad ako e and balak ko ipa assess is yung Electronics engineering degree ko. I'll keep everyone updated here para sa mga kaparehas ko ng case since sobrang konti namin na fresh grad na nagbalak ng AU haha. Godbless!

@MLBS I asked yung nominated skill mo para maset ang expectations sa pagreceive ng invite. Pro rata din kasi yung electronics engineer so stiff ang competition sa pagkuha ng invite. The last 60 pointer that was invited lodged an EOI December 2016 and in the April 26 2017 invitation round, only 70 pointers were invited. Check out this link

It says na if you have 60 pts, you can expect an invite on March 2018. Nung nag sstart kasi ako sa application ko, I thought kapag may 60 pts ka good ka na, dami pa pala technicalities. Aware ka naman with the waiting periods and the likelihood na mamove pa to as more people submit their EOIs?

@jiomariano Alam ko lang na pro-rata ang ECE pero di ko alam yung exact wait times e. Thanks ulit for informing me a! medyo matagal pala hintay. Pero balak ko na magsubmit agad ASAP para abot sa July 2017 na reset ng invitations. Pag mas mataas points mo mas maaga ka maiinvite, pero pag pasok ka sa 60 maiinvite ka pa rin pero mas matagal nga lang? Ganyan pagkakaintindi ko bro e. Balak ko talaga muna maisalang agad yung application ko kasi yan lang talaga points na makukuha ko haha. Wala pa ako experience saka 22 palang ako kaya IELTS lang talaga ang pwede kong pagbuhusan ng effort haha

@MLBS Parang ganito, lahat ng 65+pts ay uunahing bigyan ng invite bago sayo, like what you said. Tapos, say lahat ng 65+ pointers ay nabigyan na ng invite, dun pa lang sila maguumpisang mag invite ng 60 pointers, paunahan naman ng lodging ang labanan dito. Based sa last round na nag invite sila ng 60 pointers sa skill mo, ang huling invite eh para sa nag lodge ng December 19, 2016. So say nakapag lodge ka ng EOI by July after you graduate, magiging kalaban mo sa placement yung lahat ng 60 pointers from December 20, 2016 up until your lodgement date. Liban sa kanila, lahat ng makakakuha ng mas mataas pang score na maglolodge eh mauunahan ka.

Ganyan din case ko 3 years ago, dun ko na feel na excited na ako tumanda hahahaha! Pero wag mawalan ng pag asa, ace the IELTS muna and get a positive assessment from EA, then take it from there You can check visa 190, +5 points yun in case

@jiomariano Waiting game nga haha no choice ako kundi maghintay talaga e. Pro rata kasi ECE kaya ginagawa ko na ngayon ang pag apply baka later down the line mahirapan ako kasi magkaroon ng changes. Once na makakuha ako ng magandang results sa IELTS I'll look into 190 visa din. Meron din akong relatives sa Queensland at Perth e pero provisional visa lang kasi ang 489 kaya second option ko sya. So 4 months ang hinintay ng mga December 2016 lodgers? Hopefully in a year ma achieve ko plans ko baka mabulok ako dito e haha thanks again man!

@zyrita ako rin, di ko to mahanap nung ako pa ng-aaply. pero puede pala cya. (see attached image). kaya, nglodge na lng ako para makapagmedical na kami.

@zyrita welcome... additional tips din pala before ka mgmedical, ngonline appointment ako buti na lng kasi andaming tao sa nationwide. pang #50+ na kami pero dahil sa appointment, naprioritize pa rin kami. then mayrun mga forms na nirerequire din ng nationwide, ngfill up na ako before pumunta. hirap pa naman mgfill up ng forms ng nakatayo occupied na kasi lahat ng chairs. lastly, ung hiv form, back-to-back ang pgprint.

@silverblacksoldier yep, no appointment needed kasi they cater first come first serve basis. sa akin lng, alam ko kasi na traffic at ayaw ko na whole day akong mgstay sa clinic, kaya ngpaappointment ako. para sure na rin na hindi nila ako marerefuse. actually, ung guard, hindi na sana kami papasukin kasi 1030am kami dumating. sabi ni guardian ubos na daw ang priority #s pero ng malaman niya na ngpaappointment ako, pinapasok kami. by 1230pm tapos na kami mgpamedical.
