    Hello to all,

    Just a newbie here and also new in trying to apply for a Skill Independent Visa (189). Hingi lang sana nang advise, so first ba is to secure an IETLS results before lodging an application? Please give me a summary of a best course of action to take. thanks

    hello @carboy. thank you for the prompt response. yes, i have already submitted an eoi with the necessary documents. i am just waiting since my application for state nominationwas rejected. that is why i am asking if having 65 pts is enough for me to receive an invite. what do you think? i'm really hoping it is enough. i feel so bad after the rejection
    - if you applied for visa 189 (check your EOI if you selected visa 189), your occupation is in SOL, and if your score is atleast 60pts, then there is a high chance you will be invited.. see my previous post.

    - if your occupation is in CSOL, you applied for visa 190, and you mentioned your SS application was rejected, then even if your score is 60 pts or more, you won't get an invitation to apply..

    hello sir. thank you for your prompt response. yes, i selected visa class 189 as well in my eoi. my occupation code is in SOL but it is in the list of occupations that has reached its ceiling. i have been thinking that this might be the reason why my SS has been rejected. i'm not sure but i already emailed them asking for the specific reason since they mentioned that i met the minimum requirements. i know that the new SOL will be released by june 2013 which is why i'm asking if having this certain number of points is enough to be invited provided that occupation nominated is still in the list. i am really hopeful since the only news i got about the possible Occupation code in danger is accountants,

    @msunfortunate \- there you go.. that's the reason.. occupation ceiling..
    they'll refresh that by Jul 1 2013... and yes for visa 189, 65pts is good enough to be invited..

    Hi!

    This is my 1st time to log-in and post comment here. I would like to seek for your assistant guys about my interest on working in AU. I worked as TSR(call center) and was handling Aussie Client for almost a year. I decide to leave my current job and find my own luck maybe in AU or somewhere else. What I would want to know are there any position that will be suited on my qualification base on my experienced, what do I have to prioritize looking for employer or apply for Visa lastly do I have to be skilled in order for me to be qualified. Thanks, I’ll be waiting for any comments and suggestion

    hello eman07! there is actually an occupation code for call center agents. not sure if it is called ict technical support officer. you may want to check that out. however, the minimum number of years of experience needed is 3 yeas. i hope that helps.

    there are two options:
    1. you apply online and ask if company can sponsor your working visa
    - check mo yung seek.com.au
    - mahigpit ang competition, but there are some who managed to get a sponsorship via online

    For those done with their medicals, will there be a notification that they uploaded the results already? How long usually it takes for them to upload it?
    No notification from the hospital as per my experience... They upload it within 3 days during my time.

    kc yun nanay ko punta sa public notary sa batangas. at ang sabi ng atty. e pwede lng nya icertified na nakalagay e certified machine copy lng not the certified true copy.
    ask ko lng po san po kyo nag pa ctc ng mga documents nyo po. at dun nlng papapuntahin yun nanay ko.
    ano po bng pagkakaiba ng machine copy at true copy?

    I heard news from other forums that the SOL list will be out by early June. AWPA has already submitted their recommendations to DIAC early May. For those who are waiting for the refresh of occupation ceilings... start the countdown. :)

    I plan to be assessed by ACS - what should be the IELTS Exam I should be taking? General Training or Academic? augh.

    It depends if required ng skills nya ang college degree; remember lahat ng applicants kailangan ng skills assessment... But potentially mawawalan sya ng 5-15pts just on education.

    So 2 things; (1) depends on what is needed by skills assessment nya and (2) assuming okey ang #1, if added up ang points, aabot ba sya ng at least 60?

    @alphadog - those are supporting documents, which may or may not
    be required by your CO..

    whatever you submitted for your skills assessment, those are the once you initially need to lodge your visa..
