General Skilled Immigration Visa - Step By Step Process

Hi, please I need your advice. I am graduate of Master In Information Technology(MIT) and BS Computer Science(BSCS). The school where I finished the MIT is in Catergory 1 while BSCS is in Category 3. Will it consider by ACS as Bachelor degree?

I want to apply as programmer but my work experience since 2008 are Asst. Professor and University Lecturer( I use to handle computer programming subjects). Is it considered as work experience for programmer?

At present I am working here in Papua New Guinea as Lecturer handling Southern Cross University-Australia units. The company I am working with is accredited by Southern Cross University. Will it be considered as Australian work experience?

Please share your experience.

@b_abadjr - normally, degrees from PH category 1 school are considered equivalent to AU bachelor degree..

- teaching is not considered relevant to any nominated occupation..
- why dont you try for university lecturer as your nominated occupation... of course you need to check all other requirements (what type of visa/independent/ss/etc).. if you are qualified, this is not under ACS, but im assuming will be VETASSESS

yes sir iba ang immiaccount at kailangan mo nga gumawa ng account.
bale dito ka na kasi pwede gumawa ng e-visa tapos saka ka mag-aattach ng documents.
ang purpose nya talaga ay parang central hub kung saan pwede ka magmanage ng multiple e-visa applications.
If not yet invited, can we create an immi accnt & attach documents then save first?

pwede kang gumawa ng immiacct pero di ka pa pwede mag-attach ng documents since kailangan mo muna mag-lodge ng visa application para magkaroon ng access dito.

Patulong naman po sa mga items na to:

1. 3/17 - National Identity Documents -> passport is considered as National Identity Document right? Wala kasi akong driver's license then ung SSS ID ko still indicates my maiden name.

2. 8/17 Usual country of residence -> I'm working here in Indonesia for 2.5 yrs already pero ung family ko that i will include in application are in Phil. Ano po ang ilagay ko na usual country of residence? Phil or Indo?

3. 15/17 Previous country of residence -> I worked in China before for 6 months, do i need to indicate it in this page? My next problem is, it was 8 years ago... i can't even remember the address. Di rin naman po siguro ako hihingan ng character requirements since this is less than 12 months.. tama po ba?

1. ok lang kahit maiden name mo nasa sss mo. Passport is a national ID, pero indi nio na kelangan include passport jan since may field specifically for passport/s.

2. Indonesia po ang usual country of residence mo. kung san ang current address mo, dun po ang usual country.

3. tama po indi na kayo hihingin ng police clearance from China, since less than 12 months stay nio dun.

@b_abadjr tama po si @lock_code2004 you may consider applying as a University Lecturer ang problem is walang state available to sponsor sa ngayon. NSW used to sponsor kaso closed na as of today. I suggest, browse through the SOL & CSOL and see whether there are other occupations na pwede sayo.

@nss8 May friend ako systems analyst just got invited po last 24th March with 65 points. Sa opinion ko po mejo ok na din chance nio with 65 points. Mas maganda mag submit na kayo EOI as early as possible para nakapila na kayo. I checked po just now, nag iinvite na pala sila ng with 65 points.

ngaun ko lang narealize na mali pala ung na input ko na date of expiry ng passport ng anak ko... instead of Jan. 2017 nailagay ko Jan. 2016..

pwede ba kami mag proceed sa medical e magrereflect sa referal letter un?
pano ko po marerevise ung wrong info?

Last time parang may nabasa ako na wrong spelling ung name... di ko na po kasi mahanap.. thanks!

@nss8 She submitted Sept 24 (not sure +- 2 days) then she was first invited January 15, pero she was not ready (financially) so they have to let the ITA expire. After it expired on the 15th of March, she was again invited on the 24th of March.

@cartmandemarco No confirmed news pa about accountant. Sana nga indi sia maalis. pero last year pa ata yung bali-balita na aalis. lets hope na if ever maalis sa schedule 1, iretain pa rin nila sa CSOL.

Problem ko sir sub class 189 lang kasi ata ang pede ko apply wala naman kasi ako kilala sa ausie. @cartmandemarco Indi mo kelangan ng kakilala para makaapply ng subclass 190. You just have to find a state open for sponsorship just incase they remove Accountant from SOL and retain sa CSOL. Normally NSW ang nag-i-sponsor ng Accountant. Pero closed na NSW ngyn and currently, open ang SA for sponsorship (medium availability).

Ay ganun po ba. Kasi nung nag check ako sa immi ang na suggest saken un visa 189 pr. Yun 190 pala ganun hindi ko pa na research un hehe. Sandali magkaiba ang 189 sa 190 dba? Wahaha hindi ko alam ang sponsorship na yan sa dami ng nabasa ko na.

nbi clearance are required by your immigration CO only and no it will not be needed when you do your skills assessment.

Nag gather na kasi ako ngmga requirement docs ko habang review stage ako for ielts.

just want to ask after po ba maclear ng st.lukes yun medical ko at sila na daw magpapasa sa embassy.ilan days naman po bago nila mapasa sa DIAC.kasi nacomplete ko na lahat ng requirements kaso sabi ng case officer di p5a daw nila natatagap yun medical clearance ko. pero sabi st,lukes napasa na nila.kaso nagwait ako kailan papasa ng embassy ng pH papunta sa DIAC.pag ganito ba final stage naba ito?kasi yun nalang daw wait ng case officer wala na daw ako ipapasa na.malaki ba chance makapasa ako. march 15 ako nag pamedical at napasa ng march 25 ng st.lukes sa embassy ilan.s ilan days kaya waiting bago makita ng case officer?many thanks!
