Filipino nurse migrating on australia

QueenbeeQueenbee Posts: 3Member
Hello everyone. I need some clarifications and advises too. I am currently a registered nurse in the Philippines and planning to have at least one year experience here. My aunt wants me to migrate in Brisbane and also work as a nurse. Is it really required to have at least 2 years of experience here in the Philippines? And what else do I need to prepare? Thank you.

@Queenbee For AHPRA Registration it's not really a requirement to be working/training in a tertiary hospital. However, since the purpose is eventually to find work and even migrate, that's the time when your training will eventually count.

Thank you for the replies! I am currently having a basic training in a general hospital and it will be for 5mos long then apply again as a staff and you will be observed. I have read in one of the threads here that volunteer work isn't counted as an experience and that you need a paid work experience for it to be counted. I need to make sure. Thank you.
