@arc123 there are two temporary graduate visas, one for vocational course graduates (valid for 18 months) and another for degree graduates (valid for 2 years). As long as yung course na kukunin mo requires at least 2 years of study, you will qualify for either one. Technically pwede ka naman maghanap ng work while still on student visa, pero kung alanganin ang oras (not enough time to look for a job that can sponsor your visa), mas ok na kumuha ka ng temp grad visa. Once makuha mo yung temp graduate visa, pwede ka maghanap ng work or mag-aral uli.

@athelene hi sis, i'm looking at taking certification course na 6 months lang . then proceed to get another diploma course na 1yr ( i'm looking at social work path ) pre requisite kasi yung cert to my diploma course. is it feasible ? my worry is what if after my cert course di na ma approved for another SVP 1 yr . huhu. is it practical or more expensive too?

@marann99 hi. If prereq yung certificate, inquire ka sa school kung pwede nakapackage yung certificate and diploma (bale diploma course lng aaplyan mo tapos inclusive na yung certificate). Pero kung 6 months lng yung cert then 1 year yung diploma, kulang ng 6 months yung study so baka d ka magqualify for temporary graduate visa. check mo po kung may advanced diploma in social work (usually 6 months additional sya) para makumpleto mo yung 2 years study. Mas mura yung packaged courses in the sense na isang beses ka lng mag-aapply ng student visa (no fee difference whether certificate or diploma or degree yung kukunin mo)
