    Hello guys,
I have been reading all the posts and comments on this thread like a week ago and I have just decided to join right now, it's really very informative. Anyway, I have just lodged my subclass 309 partner visa just last March 27,2013 then by the end of April last month I have just able to send my additional documents which is the NBI and a few emails of my partner and I had without even having the Case Officer nor the embassy asking me to do so,its only the VIA officer when I passed my application says that I should get a NBI and call their call center to submit it. What worries me a bit is that on the purpose of my NBI I have stated that it's for IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENT.

I've been checking the Embassy's website though and I am very glad to see that they're now processing/assessing/allocating applicant's lodged until April 5,2013 for the partner visa so yeah finger's crossed for me.

As of 6 May 2013, the Visa and Immigration Office is processing/assessing/allocating applications lodged within the period indicated below.

Visa Sub-class Permanent Visa Category Application Lodgement Dates*
    Partner Visa Applications (309, 100, 300) 5 April 2013
    Aged Dependant Relative (114) 22 April 2013
    Remaining Relative (115) 22 April 2013
    Career (116) 22 April 2013
    Child (subclass 101, 117, 445) 22 April 2013
Citizenship by Descent 22 April 2013

@forevern4always hello nag email na ako to followup my application, same day nag reply sa akin hindi na yung CO ko, yung name ay foriegner na....sabi nya ay "we are waiting on the medical results to be verified by MOC(based in Australia) and that a decision cannot be made until a response from MOC is rcvd...feel free to send a followup email in 8 weeks"....

So yun another 8 more weeks of waiting.

    Cheers to everyone :-)

    Hello RF_angels25

MOC stand's for Medical Officer of the Commonwealth which is based in Australia, they are gonna be the one to assess your health examinations reports. check mo to http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/health-requirements/assessment-health-exam-results.htm...

I'm also a de facto partner visa applicant.

@RF_angel25 if i remember it right, dun sa ibang thread... kapag may nakitang findings ang co... they need to pass the medical to moc and then moc will decide if ur medical is ok or not... but.. bakit walang advise sayo?? o kaya sinabo sayo nun co mu?

    @RF_angel25, Medical Officer of the
Sa Australia yan, ganyan nga din ang response ng embassy saken that they are waiting for the results of my medical... 8weeks b ang tagal nman, almost 2 months pa. Nabasa n rin ng husband ko n they are now having 4 months backlog as there are so many assylim seekers rin n nghihintay ng decision with regards their medical. Eh cla tumatawid lng by boat. Lets be patient.

for my understanding lang po huh, eh pag may findings na nakita ang case officer mo sa health examination reports mo eh that's the time they're gonna refer it to MOC, co'z if wala naman they can be cleared by the visa processing officer as what they stated on their assessment of health Examination Results on their website of immi.

ganito kase yun mga pre, im applying for defacto, i have 2 kids in my previous marriage, and kahit di ko sila isama sa pag migrate sa Aus the law says that any dependents under marriage will have to undergo medical check...so yun yung additional requirement ko na i was able to complete naman...then after my face to face interview the following day tumawag si co kase nawawala yung medical nung isang anak ko, then yun nga nahanap na daw nya...so after that wala ng ni ha ni ho si CO ko kase sabi nya within 2 months daw ako maghntay pa....nag double check naman ako sa nationwide health ng medical ko OK naman daw walang problem, then yung sa mga bata ok naman din daw at kinulit ko pa yung doctor sa cebu nationwide health kasama na secretary nya at yung taga data entry nya since sinamahan ko mga kids ko dun at di ako umalis ng cebu until di ko makuha ang result, since naka base ako sa manila dito ang medical check ko and yung sa mga kids ko sa cebu since dun naman sila naka base with their mom na may new famiy na rin.
then this week nag email ako to followup kase wala na akong narinig sa CO ko, yun na ang nag reply sakin Aussie na yun nga daw na refer sa MOC...

Pero naka highlight naman sa email nya na within processing time pa rin daw ako which is 6 to 9 months, so yun positive pa rin ako kahit papano.

    More prayers...

Rf.. Pasasaan bat makkaalis k rin. Oo pray lng, as long as pinoprocess naman nila iyan, yun ang importante. Khit matagal, at least they inform u naman pla kung ano need n doc n dapat ipass. lagi nila sinasabi yang processing time na 6-9 months at yun din sinabi ng clerk saken dun sa via center, cguro ayaw lng nila tlga mg expect ang clients, for us not to pest them lalo nat they are assessing lots of visas everyday. Mapalad lng talga yung nggrant agad ng 3months or 4 months. Keep us informed bro. God bless.

@forevern4always may nabasa ako sa "referred to MOC" thread, may email ad dun na pwede mag inquire about applicants which was referred to MOC, pero im not sure kung applicable yun sa Partner Visa 309. Nag ask ako if i can inquire from that email dun sa thread nila.
Yung CO ko naman di man lang ako sinabihan about my medical which was reffered to MOC and yung nag reply sa email ko hindi na yung CO ko, ang title nya ay SMO, di rin nya sinabi kung kelan nila nai-refer sa MOC, sa kabilang thread may mga MOC referral dates sila dun from their CO...so di ako sure kung applicable ba yun sa Partner Visa.

eto yung reply na na-rcv ko nung nag email ako sa CO to inquire about my visa application status.

    Dear xxxxx

    Thanks for your email.

We are currently waiting on the medical results to be verified by a Medical
Officer of the Commonwealth (based in Australia). Please note that this
can take some time and expect that we will get a response from the MOC in
approximately 8 weeks. A decision on this case cannot be made until a
response is received by the MOC nor can I escalate this case.

Your case was lodged on October 2012 and you should be aware that we take
6-9 months to process partner visa applications.

We appreciate your patience in this matter but feel free to send a follow
up email in 8 weeks if you have not heard from this office.

    Regards

@elena05 ang inisip ko baka yung medical check nung mga kids ko kase mas nauna ako nag medical upon lodging my application after 5 days lang yata nagpa medical na ako..then since di ko naman isasama yung mga kids kaya di ko sila pina medical, and yun nga my co contacted me na i have to have my kids medical kase according to migration law, so i had my kids medical check na rin nung Feb....then nung nag face to face interview kami nung March, after a day lang she called me nga kase di nya mahanap yung medical result ng mga bata...so naisip ko baka yung sa mga kisa ko ang na refer sa MOC...pero alam naman ni CO na di ko sila isasama sa pag migrate ang mga kids at di papayag yung nanay nila.

Rf... I think its not actually "referred". He said he was waiting for results from moc. I know some mga nadetect n my active tb, ngpaculture at ngpositive pa. So they are now on medication... Wait nila matapos ung gamutan 6 months yun. Ininform cla ng embassy about it. Mahabang process yun, kya I dont think papaghihintayin k nila ng almost 6 now, kung my problema medical mo.

Then since tourist ung visa nya ndi sya covered ng medicare at walang insurance kaya ang gastos. Ayun after ilang balik sa specialist naging ok nman na visa grant sya total time inabot ay 3 months from the time na nag lodge ng application until ma approve.

I lodged mine on March too which is on the 27th but as of now wala pa rin akong natanggap sa kanila.

    Dear XXXXX,

    Thank you for you email.

Per system check, we already have received the result of your medical
    examination.

Your case officer will get in touch with you should you need to provide
additional information and if a medical examination is required.

--I just hope ok na ang medical ko since NBI lang ang hiningi sa akin ng case officer ko.. :-(
