Employment Contract Verification

Hello, I just received my 457 visa today, sponsored ng employer and direct hire. So next is I have to get my OEC. The problem is that my employment contract was sent and signed online and needed sa OEC na original and verified ang contract. Does it mean na need ko i-ask si employer na pa-verify sa POLO sa AU ung contract and padala sa Pilipinas? Gaano kaya katagal un? Thank you in advance!

@prettyme1026 I did mine last year and ito yung process na ginawa ko:
- Called the POLO Canberra office to ask for the requirements and process since sometimes may changes. To be sure I recommend calling them
- Prepared the documents needed and sent everything via email (PDF copy)
- Wired my payment through BPI
- They sent me the documents with the red ribbon through my mailing address
- If you need a copy sooner, ask them to send you a scanned copy so that you can show it to POEA/OWWA to get your OEC if you are pressed for time
- Submitted all the requirements to POEA/OWWA for the OEC and attended the PDOS
- I got my OEC about 2 weeks after I submitted the documents to POEA/OWWA

@rainybrainy question po ilang day or gaano katagal yung pagverify nila ng contract mo ? and if isend nila via fedex may idea ka po gaano katagal ?

@jazzy06 parang inabot din ng 3-4 weeks yungs validation at shipping since hindi express mail yung ginamit ko. pero pwede mo irequest na isend nila sayo yung validated copies via email para may copy ka na kahit wala pa yung original.

@rainybrainy sinend na kasi ng employerko sa polo sa canberra thru email kaso wala silang response if nareceive na nila and ano mga next process

@jazzy06 if sinend lang nila via email and walang hard copies, they won't be able to process it. It has to be sent in hard copies for processing and then your employee can request for the soft copy of the verified docs while waiting for the actual hard copies to be sent back.

@rainybrainy share ko lang eto kasi nireply nila sa employer ko, kaya via email ginawa nila.

The following are the requirements for verification and authentication of employment documents by POLO which the properly and clear scanned copies can be sent through this email:
1. employment contract (signed on all pages by the employer and the worker)
2. copy of the worker's passport
3. copy of the worker's visa
4. copy of company's business registration
5. copy of employers passport or drivers license
6. company certification that they have not hired more than 5 Filipino workers processed by POEA and POLO and that the company has not partnered with Philippine Recruitment agency to process the deployment of their workers.

Phil immigration requirements like OEC is only required by Philippine Authority and nothing to do with the country youre going to.

@jazzy06 agreed sa comment ni @fgs ... Sa PH lang hahanapin yung OEC. Sa AU, wala namang hinanap so long as your passport is tied with the valid visa (allowing you to enter AU).

@rainybrainy @fgs naiinis na employer ko kasi 1 hindi nagrereply ang POLO canberra at hindi rin sumasagot sa mga tawag , nabayaran na nila lahat.

@jazzy06 Oh no... Wonder why hindi sila nagrereply at sumasagot sa calls. Last week nagrequest ako ng OEC and nareceive ko sya nung Monday. Follow-up kamo sila sa email ([email protected]).

@rainybrainy update ko lang , napadala na thru fedex po yung document , question lang po tumawag kasi ako sa poea talaga pong 1 month aabutin yung pagkuha ng OEC ?

@jazzy06 Yan din naging problem ko dati when I had to get mine kase kelangan pa magsubmit ng docs at dapat signed ni Silvestre Bello (not sure kung sya parin ang signatory till now). It took mine about 3-4 weeks before I got my OEC so my flight schedule was moved twice. I would recommend that you book a flight only once you obtained the OEC.

Nakakainis kase yung mga genuine na magwowork abroad kailangang pagdaanan yang process na I think walang sense. =(

@rainybrainy so nakasalalay po sa pipirma kung gaano kabilis yung processing , last question na po hinahanapan ka pa po ba ng medical certificate and insurance po ?


January 17 na po kasi alis ko , once nasaakin na yung authenticated doc start ko na iprocess oec.

@jazzy06 yung medical at insurance part of the visa conditions (depende kung anong visa mo). So kung sa visa mo required sya, mas better na isama mo na din sya sa isusubmit para di magkaproblem if sakaling hanapin.

Di ka pwede magprocess ng OEC sa AU kapag palabas ka palang ng PH. Pero once nandito ka na, mas madali kumuha dito ng OEC everytime uuwi ka sa PH for vacation.

@rainybrainy iniisip ko nagpamedical na for visa , baka ipaulit. Yung sayo ano and saan ka kumuha ng medical insurance ?

@jazzy06 hindi na ipapaulit yun. Yung saken kase yung employer ko ang nagprovide ng health insurance. Pinadala lang nila saken yung copy.

Another way na commonly ginagawa ng mga naka Visa that needs to exit Manila/PH is to fly elsewhere within Asia (usually SG) with return tickets back to Manila/PH (prentending to be tourists) and then will fly from there to AU. However, this would entail costs pero no hassle kase di ka naman hahanapan ng OEC to visit SG for pleasure and sa SG di naman yun hahanapin sayo when you leave for AU.

@rainybrainy nakuha ko na docs pero sa endorsement letter kasi required magsubmit ng medical certificate kaloka naman e , ginawa na yun as visa requirements

@rainybrainy wahh sorry makulet , pero nung pinasa mo documents mo hindi ka na nahingan ng medical certificate ?.

@jazzy06 parang wala naman akong sinubmitna medical certificate. Pero parang nagpakita ako nung health declaration na filled out as part of the health assessment and told them I did the medical as part of the Visa application.

Ask ko lang po regarding sa contract verification which is one of the direct hire requirements to be able to get an OEC from POEA. Alam nyo po ba ang process pra maverify nang POLO ung contract ng husband ko? Hndi kasi sila ngrreply sa email
