    Hmmm.. paano kaya. Hirap din kasi alam ko ang mga CO can't give any immigration advice on what step you need to take.

    Ito similar cases sa iyo, nakita ko when I did a quick Google search. Baka meron iba members na makapag-interpret. :) Share your thoughts.

    Ah.. ayun pala. AMA din po ako, and AQF Diploma lang po talaga ang BS ComSci and BS IT. Ang AQF Degree lang po sa AMA is Computer Engineer. Kagaya po ni pareng @icebreaker1928. Kaya 15 points po sya.

    Erase na lang po yun suggestion ko ng Vet Assess, akala ko hindi related yun Degree nya.. yun pala tama lang AQF Diploma talaga, tama si ACS and CO.

    Si ACS kasi sana in-assess na lang na Major in Computing un Masters mo. :(

    Ibig bang sabihin nito kahit mag re apply ako at kahit anong gawin ko di ako papasa dahil Aqf bachelors ang need nila?

    @amcasperforu Makikisawsaw po, just my 2 cents, the reason they need bachelor degree on your current application is because you claimed it, I think one of the option you can have is ask for a refund (if you cant retake IELTS on your current application) then take IELTS and go through the EOI process again, this time claiming diploma + IELTS points. But I think your CO is giving you a chance since he said if you have any place where you can claim the additional 5, Just ask and confirm if you can retake IELTS. Hope this helps. Thanks!

    @amcasperforu - eto ang mga suggestions ko:

    1. email CO if they will accept your IELTS score after re-take

    2. call ACS, if they consider having your AQF diploma+AQF masters equivalent to AQF Bachelors..
    - based dun sa link na pinost ni @Bryann: http://skillselect.govspace.gov.au/2012/11/30/points-test-factors-–-are-your-claims-correct/
    To receive 15 points for a Masters or Honours degree you must:
    a) also have an Australian Bachelor degree, or
    b) your Masters degree must be considered as at least comparable to Bachelor level at Australian standards (assessing authorities can provide an opinion on your qualifications).

    3. kung hindi talaga pwede, i withdraw mo ang application mo para ma refund ang application fee
    - may mali din kasi ang EOI system, sa automatic calculation
    - correct me if im wrong, sa EOI, you entered AQF Diploma
    - and then you entered AQF Masters, and then it automatically gave you 15pts..
    - kung automatic nga yan, sana alam ng system na wala kang AQF bachelors, at hindi nagbigay ng 15pts..
    - kung eto nga ang nangyari, you can use this as your reason for withdrawing your application, and asking for a refund...

    @rguez06 thats one possibility is to ask my CO kung payag sya for me to retake the IELTS... and I hope kung hindi man payag sya to refund the amount...

    @lock_code2004 iba ana ang pointing system unfortunately sa aking pagkakatanda nung nag lodge ako...ang bachelor and masters ay isang point na lang 15pts... pinag isa nila...

    @amcasperforu i think lahat ng tied up sa TRN mo is uulitin like medical. Kasi pag naglodge ka ulit bibigyan ka ng bagong TRN. Not really from scratch, ung ACS mo puedeng gamitin ulit. Pati na rin ung PCC at mga certificates mo. yung sponsorship and di ako sure.

    may mga validity naman po yan, i think...like kung sa medical, valid for 1 year...yung ielts, 2 years...yung PCC (ata) 1 year din...ang sa assessment, di ko masyadong sure pero yung sa akin dati, 5 years...sa state sponsorship, di ko din sure...

    pero ang pinagtataka ko... may nsw ss ka, diba ang nsw AQF degree lang ang inaaprove nila?
    or nagbago na sila ng rules? ang alam ko lang binago ng nsw e yung ielts score...

    pwede nyo kaya ask sa CO nyo bakit ganon? kaya lang baka naman matangal NSW SS nyo kasi mas magpreprevail ang decision ng DIAC.

    Bossing ako po, hindi AQF Degree. AQF Diploma lang po ako, pero base sa nomited skill and suggestion ng ACS papasok po ako sa State Sponsorship thats why nung meron po available sa NSW SS nag apply ako.

    @icebreaker1928 thanks po for giving out the information.. I just hope pwedeng iconsider ni CO ang na assessed na aqf diploma + aqf masters to be equivalent as aqf bachelors...

    Alam ko po kasi in the past naging hole ito dahil from other places you can have a masters degree without a bachelors degree... But in my case naman I have my college diploma but not in thpse listed top Univ in the Phils. From AMA lang po but still I undergone those hardships to passed all the reqts not to mention po ang thesis... Hard earned degree po ang malungkot na part po di sa reputable school :( This is somewhat hard to accept and disappointing. :'(

    @Batchmate wala naman nabanggint and kasi nung nag claim ako ng points, 10 lang ni claim ko kasi AQF Diploma nga.

    About sa Top University, yes same sentiments here and I think meron dito nag post na Cum Laude pa sa AMA tapos Diploma lang din ang assessment.

    I think it has nothing to do with school... AMA din ako pero BS CoE ang course ko, but I was assessed as AQF Degree...maybe sa mga subjects/curicullum sila nagbabase...

    Yung kakilala ko naman ComEng sila pareho then both 5years course. Pareho sila na assess as AQF Degree. One showing all his MS Certs, the other one no MS Cert.

    Medyo nakakalito nga po, kasi ako 4 years full time then AQF Advance Diploma.

    First and foremost, I don't think nag-aassess ang AEI-NOOSR individually - secondly, they already have set guidelines that are being used by the various assessing bodies like ACS, CPA Australia, EA, etc...

    Having said that, you got your AQF Diploma assessment from ACS and this was based from the AEI-NOOSR guidelines... In my opinion, even if you magpapaassess ka elsewhere, babalik at babalik sila sa guideline ng AEI-NOOSR and it will probably yield the same results.

    May 03, 2013 : Lodge application including my mom
    May 06, 2013 : Medicals done at St. Lukes
    May 15, 2013 : My med result was uploaded
    May 23, 2013 : NBI clearance uploaded
    May 28, 2013 : Nanay's medical uploaded

    Jun 14, 2013 - Oct 08, 2013: Almost saying Goodbye AU... But keep pushing and believing...
    Oct 09, 3013 : Golden email from CO
    Oct 30, 2013 : VISA GRANT with nanay :)
