Here are some tips:
- Check first if you have a pathway to PR (unless you're only after for studies). Make sure that the occupation you will nominate is in the MLTSSL. So better familiarize first in your PR pathway before you opt for SV. If you think you lack some points and SV is your best pathway to PR, then go for it.
- Yung course na aapply-an mo dapat related sa degree or work experience mo. Mahihirapan ka kasi makakuha ng letter of offer kung hindi relevant sayo. You need to prove that you are a genuine student and babalik ka sa pilipinas after ng studies mo. So bawal mo imention sa GTE na kaya ka nagSV ay dahil pathway mo sya to PR. For more info, read about GTE
- Choose at least 3 uni or colleges that you want to apply for. You may consult in education agencies like AECC, Kokos, IDP. They offer free services
Mind you, if you study in a regional area with a minimum of 2 years, you could get an additional 5 points.
- English Proficiency : aside from IELTS, you could opt for PTE. computer-based si PTE whilst IELTS is face to face sa panelist and paper exam sya as well. They said that PTE is easier than IELTS. Regarding dun sa sinasabi mo na no ielts, the school will require you to attend an English Class (which will cost you more. This is a pre-requisite and needs to be completed before you could start your course talaga.). But some colleges don't require it. Check with your agent
- Once you got your offer letter, you could pay for your tuition fee. Some universities are participating in Streamlined Visa Processing and since PH assessment is level 2, they no longer require you to submit financial docs e.g Deakin Uni, MQ, RMIT and many more. You may check the Document Checklist Tool to see if your nominated institution requires financial evidences.
- Once you settled your tuition fee payment, the school will release your CoE (Certificate of Enrollment)
- Pay for your insurance
- Medical
- Lodge your student visa
Try to read other threads as well. They are very informative.Master of Software Engineering
