    Hindi. Kasi pag convert mo Sg license, you need proof of residency. Which means, either a lease, or utility bills in your name, 3 months worth.

    This is it, 2nd week of May we will going to Australia. Mixed emotions, and most of the time mas nangingibabaw ang kaba kesa kasiyahan at excitement. Bahala na, we just need to trust that everything will be OK, in time.

    @bookworm meron option sa website nila:

    https://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/licences

    Evidence of Victorian residence

    If you still cannot establish evidence of your Victorian residence, you must provide a referee statement which must:

    be signed by a Victorian driver licence holder who has known you for 12 months or more, and includes the referee's name, licence number and signature.
    This statement can be made on the learner permit or licence application form.

    Nakita ko sya sa application form. So pede na pala ang friend ko na resident na for 2 years. :)

    @IslanderndCity it's better to err on the side of caution paps. Antagal mo inasam ang Au VISA tapos either mapapuwi ka lang or magmumulta ng malaki pag nahuli ka. Sayang naman ang pera at panahon, including yung humiliation na aabutin mo pag na feature ka sa tv program na border security ba yun?subukan mo manuod kahit isang episode sa youtube para malaman mo.hehe!

    This is it, 2nd week of May we will going to Australia. Mixed emotions, and most of the time mas nangingibabaw ang kaba kesa kasiyahan at excitement. Lalo na walang trabaho na daratnan at wala pang tiyak na titirhan paglapag sa Australia. Tinalikuran ang convenient na buhay dito sa Singapore, maayos na sweldo, maayos na buhay. Pero syempre may kulang, kaya naman sinikap na magkaroon ng visa at subukang mamumuhay sa Australia. Para sa kinabukasan ng pamilya, para sa anak, at para sa sarili din naman. Daming unknowns, bagong lugar, bagong makikilala, anong klaseng trabahong makukuha kung meron man, aabot ba ang baon, anong mga problema ang kakaharapin. Importante talaga ang lakas ng loob, tiwala sa sarili at preparasyong mental, dala ang maleta at kaunting baon. Bahala na, we just need to trust that everything will be OK, in time.

    @IslanderndCity yung ATM ba makukuha din within the same day na makipag-meet ka doon sa Migrant Staff ng Bank and ma-activate yung migrant account mo (e.g. NAB)?
    ang alam ko a week before ka pumunta pwede mo tawagan na darating ka at mag meet kau sa araw na ganito para iready na nila atm mo at makuha mo na after nyo magusap ng manager. Yun ang sabi sa akin ng staff ng ANZ sa australia, and most probably ganun din sa nab
    @vhoythoy thanks
