Good day guys. Need your help po sana.
I recently went to an Agency sa Makati (RPS) and was offered ung OBA Plus (review dito then mag take ng exam for AU-RN) or mag VET (apply ng student visa then jan na sa AU study and isabay ung review for exam para mas makaipon if magka side jobs pag walang pasok vs pag andito sa Pinas).
Question ko po is, gusto ko sana isama ung husband ko as a dependent, sabi sa Agency wala naman daw kaso it's just that may instances na naaprove, may time din na nadedecline. Okay lang kaya un na sabay kame mag apply ng visa o mas advisable na mauna ako then saka ko sya iapply as dependent? Isip ko kasi since parehas kame ng magiging work hours pag naaprove (20hrs/week daw), mas madaling makakaipon vs kung ako lang andun.
Btw nasa Adelaide po ung sister and PR na sila dun so if ever, sa Adelaide ung nirequest ko na state sa Agency. Graduate po ako ng BSN and passed the Licensure Exam 2008, but I just started working as RN July 2018 last year. Sabi naman sa Agency walang kaso if di ko matapos 1yr or less than 3 years experience ko (which I'm not sure if totoo ba or sinasabi lang nila hehe) kasi I will be studying there and as long as makaabot sa 65points and maaprove all docs, pwede pa rin magtake ng board exam nila.
Your replies will be appreciated. TIA!

Wala namang problem with regard to bringing a dependent, however, advisable na ma-approve muna si main applicant tapos subsequent na lang si dependent dahil baka ma-delay ang approval o ma-deny kung may magiging problem like case of dependent failing in medical exams.
As to being able for you to both work and support your stay and studies, it depends on lots of factors, lifestyle, employment opportunities na malapit sa inyo, employability, etc.... Even PRs have some difficulty with finding jobs these days.
Technically, tama naman si agency na ok lang less than 3 years experience, afterall, recency of practice requirement requires only 450 hours or experience within the past 5 years. That's only about 3 months full time.
As to your points for immigration, I would suggest you check for avenues to increase it. While 65 is the minimum, bear in mind that the Skilled Migration pathway is by invitation (by the Commonwealth (subclass 189) or State (subclass 190), Regional (subclass 489). The invitation is points-biased, meaning that those with higher points get invited faster. It's a different ball-game if employer-sponsored/nominated (subclass 186).
Hope this helps.

At the moment, wala pang specifics na binibigay ang AHPRA with regards to OBA so it’s hard to assume kung paano siya makakaapekto (timewise) sa VET course mo. Hindi kasi pwede na lagi kang absent sa school dahil pwede ka nilang ireport sa immigration. Yan yung nakikita ko na pwedeng maging downside if you take the VET course.
Pwede mong isabay yung hubby mo. Just make sure na lahat ng requirements especially yung sa finances eh mamemeet niyo and you can explain din where you got the money from. Yan kasi yung isa sa common reasons bakit nadedecline yung may dependent. Have a good GTE din and assure the CO na may babalikan ka sa Pilipinas at di magooverstay sa Au.
Even if 65 is the minimum, it may not be enough to get an invite for the PR or it may take longer to get an invitation especially nowadays where everyone is trying to increase their points. Just my 2 cents, 1yr work experience may not help points wise with your PR application but it may have a huge difference when looking for an RN job.
