Australian company offered me a job as an offshore contractor, what visas can I ask for?

So I applied and was interviewed by Brisbane company. Since I'm not Australian, they're offering to get me as an offshore contractor. I currently have a Tourist visa and I'm thinking that working with a Brisbane company with no companies in the Phil will affect my chances of renewing my tourist visa (since they have no office here in the Phil, the embassy might think I will not come back, etc). I told my concerns to the company and told me the will do some research regarding the visas. I'm thinking of just asking if they will sponsor me for a working visa? Thoughts?

Honestly, I'm fine with the Tourist visa and thinking of just applying for PR eventually. But my concern is that my current Tourist visa might be rejected because of the 'You're working for an Australian company / why are you applying for an Australian visa' question

@synchrodivision there is a visit visa for business stream, tourism, etc. You will fall under business stream.
