@KarlaD i agree with the big move, we’re on our 11th day. Pang second throat swab na din namin and bagi kami lalaya this weekend is another swab.!

Sa Pinas ka ba galing? Mukhang mahirap ang flights ngyon jan papunta dito. Kung meron man palaging nacacancel. Kung kya nyo mag move end of this year, go lang. prepare for that move. Check mo din ang occupation mo kung madami hiring sa ngyon. Madami currently are for medical field. Pag ok naman sa inyo na magstay muna jan since may bayad ang quarantine, ipon muna para ready pag punta na dito.

Auto na ata ang extension ng Initial entry. Wag lang lalampas sa validity ng visa which is 5 years pa naman..

Yes meron ayuda lalo pag both jobseekers pa. Tama si @fortdomeng mga 2k/mo per person yun. Pag meron na work, report mo kagad para di magkautang sa govt.

Opo sir!!! Mandatory testing esp galing kami international travel.. pang second today on 11th day then last na sa ika 14th day.. Everyday din nagccheck thru phone calls mga nurses/doctors asking for any symptoms like fever, sore throat. Mas ok para sa lahat.

Good to hear ok po kayo dyan. Tanong ko po sana baka alam nyo sagot. Recently po kasi nagextend si Melbourne ng lockdown kaya hindi na po matutuloy ang flight namin. In case po na magSydney muna kami then magtake ng domestic flight to Melbourne madodoble po ba ang quarantine namin? Initial quarantine kay Sydney then another quarantine pagdating sa Melbourne? Salamat po.

Yes double quarantine ang mangyayari sa inyo, Sydney quarantine as international travelers, then last week kasi may bagong rules sila due to second wave sa state ng Victoria, lahat ng interstate travelers May quarantine na din. Sì traveler ang mababayad nun. Kaya madaming nagsiuwian nun Friday, 8 ng Aug para makahabol ng cut off at di magbayad.

Super strict ngayon at very uncertain ang travel papunta sa State ng Victoria. Praying na malagpasan nila to ngayon. Lalo na andaming healthcare workers ang tinamaan. Praying and praying 🙏🏻!

Akala ko din 2 swabs lang, nagulat ako kanina meron kumatok! No choice kundi sumunod. Praying na wag naman sana anoh? Ayun sa nabasa ko at sa forum sa FB, dadalhin ka sa isang facility, depende sa urgency at need of medical attention, like di malala, nasa government facilities sila at hindi sa hospital. Andun kasi nagwowork ibang nurse na kilala ko. Syempre bawal ko mention ang facility na yun. Government po lahat gagastos nun as long as PR/citizen.

Salamat sa sagot. Mabigat nga yan kahit may difference ka ng 1or 2 hours between leaving the hotel in Sydney then taking domestic flight to Melb quarantine na kagad ulit after less than an hour lang yung domestic flight.

Worth it pa rin naman mag Big move lalo na kung galing sya sa bansang mataas ang covid case. Wala masyadong case sa Sydney at mas maganda ang health care at welfare benefits sa Australia. Marami akong kilalang mga nag Big move na naka Jobseeker ngayon, malaki din ang bigayan mga 2k a month

Pero nasa sakanya p rin naman

maybe this is applicable if your visa is PR but for us 489/Temp visa better to wait unless you have huge money that you are willing to let go. =P

I have to agree on this. Although 189 yung visa ko, malaking bagay ang 3000AUD for quarantine fee. Yung sa akin kasi, initial entry pa lang sana ang gagawin ko this year kaso iniisip ko, hindi practical. Kung initial entry this year + magmove ako permanently next year at kailangan ko pa din magquarantine by that time (noone knows when this ends pero sana okay na ang situtation next year), 6000aud ilalabas ko para sa quarantine fees alone.

Anyway, nagemail ako requesting for extension and may autoreply sila. Baka makatulong din ito sa iba. @lecia tama ka po na auto extended ang IED or sabi sa email, hindi daw kailangan igrant ang extension of IED. Sabi sa AutoReply nila,

"If you have been granted one of the below visas and you are unable to make your first entry into Australia by the date specified in your Grant Notification letter due to the travel restrictions currently in place due to COVID-19, please refer to the attached Information for First Entry to Australia.

Generally you will be able to arrive in Australia after the initial entry date, as long as it is before the “Must not arrive after date” specified in your visa Grant Notification letter. You do not need to be granted an “extension” to your initial entry date or visa."

@KarlaD tama po mas ok na isahang entry na lang po kayo. Pag po dito na kasi at lalabas pa ng AU, need ng exemption para lumabas, . Mas ok na next year po yung move nyo para less gastos. Goodluck!

Hello. May idea po ba kayo kung kelan nila ililift (kung i lift at all) un hotel quarantine fee sa nsw for international travellers?

So far po ang nakita ko lang e un nsw- victoria travel:

Moratorium on hotel quarantine fee for NSW residents returning from Victoria
NSW residents returning from Victoria will have their hotel quarantine fee waived for the next month to ease the financial burden on returnees.

The charge will be waived retrospectively and apply to NSW residents already in hotel quarantine after travelling from Victoria.

The moratorium on the hotel quarantine charge for NSW residents will expire at 12:01am Friday, 11 September 2020.

@Grifter mukhang hindi maglift ng fee for international travelers hanggat merong covid pa. Pwde siguro pag inter state travel lang.hehehe opinion ko lang po to Mas lalo sila maghihigpit kasi pakonti ang cases dito sa NSW at ayaw nila maging complacent kasi lesson learnd sa nangyari sa state ng Victoria. Given na din na ang NZ zero case for 102 days, tas naglockdown na ulit. Possible talaga na hihigpit lalo.Hoping and praying na matapos na tong pandemic para normal na ulit ang buhay.

Hi! Same tayo ng grant date and IED. Hindi kami nagpa-extend. Initially, last June dapat BM namin but PAL flight cancelled. We will do it end of Aug via Cathay Pacific na. Sana hindi macancel flight or mabump-off due to cap.

Update po kayo dito pag nakalipad kayo via Cathay nagbook din kasi kami ng CX flights pero october pa naman. Nakakatakot kung mabump-off good luck po!
