Questions regarding Initial Entry Date

Hi,

Ask ko lang po, What are the minimum reqeuirements para ma satisfy ang initial entry? Dapat ba ma complete ko kumuha ng TFN, Medicare, and Centerlink? Or TFN lang kunin ko considered na naka initial entry na ako?

Meron pa ba ako na miss?

matatakan lang po ang passport nyo ng entry sa airport ng oz nasatisfy nyo na po ang initial entry requirment, hindi nyo na kelangan kumuha ng mga TFN medicare etc.

magrerenew pa lang kami, pero I believe hindi na kelangan... just keep your old passport with sticker.

Correct. Keep lang ung old passport na may PDOS sticker. Nireiterate yan sa seminar, once lang ang pagkuha ng PDOS sticker no expiration yan. Kukuha ka lang ulit kapag sa ibang bansa ka na nman magmimigrate (i.e. NZ, Canada) after Australia given na pinoy citizen ka pa rin.

You can enter anywhere you like... Even just Perth (as it is nearer to Singapore); you initial entry date will be advised to you when you get your visa; usually 1 yr from the date of your medicals or police clearance (whichever is earlier).

"Health and police clearances are valid for 12 months from the date of completion/issue. In some circumstances medicals may be valid for a lesser period (for example, if you are subject to a health undertaking requiring you to report to health authorities on arrival in Australia). Whichever of these clearances expires first will determine the "initial entry date" by which you must have entered Australia.

If you have obtained your health and police clearances so far in advance that they expire during processing, or are likely to expire so soon after decision that the initial entry date would not be viable, it is open to your case officer to require you to obtain new health and police clearances. Your case officer will determine the best course of action during processing."

yung police clearance sa Pinas expires in 6 months from date of issue diba?

Yes, that is true regarding the Medical exam and expiry of police clearances.

NBI clearance has 1 year validity.

What if mag eexpire na yung nbi by december this yr kase december last yr sya na issue, tapos yung medicals naman ay nitong june lang na issue, dba whichever is earlier ang basis? does this mean IED will have to be based on the nbi clearance which will expire this Dec?

@BoyPintados kung may balak ka na magpunta dun this year, ok lang na mag eexpire na cya. Pero kung next year mo pa balak magpunta dun, I suggest kumuha ka na ng NBI ulit.

But again, that is dependent on the CO. Yung sa akin kasi, mag eexpire na cya by Feb, pero ang binigay pa din sa akin na IED is July next year.

Guys, paano naman kaya kung magkaiba dates ng NBI expiration namen ni misis?
Yung sa akin is August 2015 tapos yung sa kanya is May2015.
Hindi kasi kami sabay kumuha ng NBI. Thanks in advance po!

Should be no issue provided na both your clearances are not yet expired while decision regarding your visa has not been released yet.
Besides iba iba naman yun expiration duration per country.. like sa NBI 1yr validity, while sa ibang countries 3 mos. lang. Kaya kadalasan IED is based on medicals

@manofsteel Yun IED namin is based sa NBI.
July 4 kami kumuha ni hubby ng NBI.
July 14 kami nagpa medicals.

Depende pa din sa CO eh.
Pero mas safe na recent pa din ang NBI para mas may enough time to prepare sa big move.

I think DIBP will ask naman the applicant if he's given shorter IED. I remember in another forum na yun applicant used his medical results which he obtained 6 mos. prior to visa lodging daw, then CO asked him if he can make it to Au if they issue him 1 month ied, he said yes, ayun visa grant sya then lipad na agad in 3weeks time yata yun.

pagpray mo na lang na longer ibigay ni CO. samin i thought this year IED namin since paexpire na NBI, but we were given 'til second quarter next year. bait ni Lord
