    Guys, if i get invited before July 1 I will pay the old pay scheme right?

    If yes, Can I create a dummy LOI now claiming 65 points even if my IELTS band score result will be released on June 21 (already have ACS and I am assuming 7 band score each) so that I can still avail of old pay scheme if invited before July 1?

    If my IELTS will not be as assumed (7 each band), can I delete the dummy LOI and create a new one?

    If I remember it correctly, your EOI will ask for your IELTS reference...

    And as we all know, the details you have placed in the EOI cannot be changed as this is the basis of you getting the invitation.

    The main visa fee actually remained the same - kaso most of the migrants have at least their partner along plus some may have kid/s...

    C/SOL will change as well - there was a separate thread for this. As far as I know though wala pa nilabas ang occupation ceiling.

    1. if you received an invitation and pay before Jul1, yes you will have the old payment fee..
    2. agree with @psychoboy, you will need IELTS test reference number for the EOI... kung June 21 ang result ng IELTS mo, hindi ka na rin aabot before Jul1, the last invitation cycle is June 17th..
    3. EOI is valid for 2 years, so you dont have to delete it kahit hindi ka pa naiinvite..

    tama, nagmahal na ang application fee... especially sa mga magpartner/family..
    pero kung single lang.. ganun pa rin naman..

    @raiden14 It's still worth-it lalo na sa mga nasa IT industry, you can easily recover that in a few months after you land a job. Naaalala ko nung nasa Melbourne ako and we were strolling at the park, may nakarinig samin na nagtatagalog so binati kami, kinwento nya na he spent almost 1M for his 2 Child to migrate to Au and after 3 months bawi na nila tubo pa, and nakuha na sila ng mga anak nya. One of the experience that I had that made me decide to try and migrate.

Grabe Australia, worth it ka pa nga ba. Pinakawawa yung maraming anak. Lets see in coming weeks pag nag sink in, no choice na eh =(

    One thing you need to ask yourself as well sir with regards to your Canada dreams; considering na next year pa iyon, will the job still be waiting for you? Just thinking aloud as nothing is really certain nowadays... :)

    I'm already thinking now if i will continue Australia. I can wait next year for Canada on which visa processing is less than 100k and my work na naghihintay sa akin. Grabe Australia, worth it ka pa nga ba =(
    One thing you need to ask yourself as well sir with regards to your Canada dreams; considering na next year pa iyon, will the job still be waiting for you? Just thinking aloud as nothing is really certain nowadays... :)
    I think yung Job ok naman. Kasi open naman yung contract ko and yung senior Partner ng audit firm ka deal ko and he owns several businesses sa Canada i met him personally. I know my gentlemans agreement naman kami. Ang uncertain lang talga is kung may accountant/ auditor sa skillset list unlike sa Australia na meron na. Daming bumps and hurdles along the way. Benta ko na kaya condo ko, yun kasi nagpapabigat patapos plang next year amortisation.

    mukhang confirmed na yan hindi na mapipigilan. either take it or leave na for them to accumulate funds na rin. Its my fault din. If i opt to go for External Audit/ Accountant route and nagpaassess sa CPAA last Feb, mukhang aabot ako sana before the increase hehe. Well move on and pay nalang siguro mangyayari

    Bawi yan guys. Asikasuhin lang agad ang paghahanap ng trabaho talaga. Once you're working, it's a matter of time.

    Kahit 457 ako, I spent $3k exams + $3k review + IELTS, Med Board etc. + baon to Oz. Visa fees and initial accommodation lang ang sagot ng employer. Hindi ko masasabi bawi ako in 3 months like dun sa nakausap ni @rguez06. Longer sa akin (hindi ko pa nababawi ng buo talaga) even though hindi naman umabot 1M gastos ko. Kasi may ongoing expenses and tsaka, depende din siguro po sa sweldo.

    I'm thinking in the first year, dun mo pa mababalik ang nagastos and will serve as savings na rin. Key, as always, is to find work.
