    Iba kasi ang Parliamentary System of Gov't Ms @Nadine...

    During a general election (or whatever is the correct term for it), people elect their Member of Parliaments (MP); etong mga MPs na ito elect among themselves kung sino ang maging Prime Minister.

    Earlier today, there was a vote of leadership sa Labour party ata hence ayun natalo si Julia Gillard and bumalik sa position si Kevin Rudd...

    Tuloy pa rin ang general election in the next few months.

    Its important to know about politics in Australia kasi sa Politics naka depende ang economy ng Australia for example ang policy ng government sa Mining, refugee, Health, immigration, education, tax at iba pa. Malapit na kasi ang election kaya nangamba ang Labor party which is party member ng Prime minister na mag vote ulit kung sino ang magiging lider nila for labor party sa election. Nangyari na yan noon at nanalo si Gillard at ngayun ulit si kevin Rudd. Bumaba kasi ang rating ni Gillard sa mamayan at labor party member sa pamamalakad ng government. May posibilitad kasi na manalo si Tony Abbott (Liberal party) sa darating na election for Prime Minister kaya umaksyon agad ang Labor party. Syempre anu man ang ang party member ng isang Prime minister mas makakalamang sa position. Puede mag elect ang prime minister ng kayang cabinet member.

    Sa ngayun slight downturn ang economy ng Australia. kaya mahirap makahanap ng work ngayun lalot end of financial year at election. Pero babalik din naman yan on December.

    Please paki correct na lang ako kung tama ang explaination ko about Australian politics.

    Oh I see. So, this is some last-ditch effort kumbaga, to keep the position within the labor party? Kasi nanganganib manalo si Tony Abbott dahil nga hindi masyado gusto ng tao si Gillard ngayon eh.

    Sana yung bagong PM, whoever he will be, will be more migrant-friendly. Si Gillard inumpisahan ng pag-diskitahan ang 457.
