Pinoy eye specialist in Sydney?

why do you need a pinoy when there is a lot of qualified eye specialist in the country

i agree. ok din mga aussie. i just had my eye check and the specialist was very good and very nice :-)

Ophthalmologist po ba hanap niyo? I doubt may pinoy po eh. Ophthalmology po kasi field na gusto ng mga puti. Di din ganun kadami ophtha kailangan, unlike GP. Kaya bihira tayo pinoy makakapasok dyan. Kaya I doubt may mahanap kayo ng full-fledged consultant na pinoy.

Well so far, sa mga nag register dun sa Fil-Au physicians, wala ophthalmology (consultant or trainee) na may practice dito sa Oz.

teary and itchy po ang eyes ko. had consulted 2 Aussie GP already. The 1st one said its a bacterial infection, i had followed the medication pero naging worst at ung medicine drop n prescribed nya me side effect (headache). The 2nd one said its an allergy, medicine works for 2 weeks but after that balik n nmn po sa dati. I'm interested for a Pinoy para ma explain ko po mabuti ung case ng eyes ko. Di po ako masyadong proficient sa english. Thanks po

Hi ask your GP to refere you to an eye specialist. Kasi kapag di kaya ng GP then ang trabaho nila is to refer you sa eye specialist private or public hospital. Kasi puede ka naman mag request sa kanila. Puede ka din naman pumunta sa bilihan ng frame at lense sa OPSM http://www.opsm.com.au i check nila ang eye mo. Ipakita mo lang ang medicare ID mo.

Use internet as a tool para mag search, use Google search and look for eye clinic o hospital in Sydney. Dont wait aksyon na agad. cheers

Eto suggestion ko po: mas madali makahanap ng pinoy GP than a Pinoy Ophtha. So pwede ka punta pinoy GP at explain mo ng mabuti ang eye problem mo. Tapos, hingi ka ng referral letter dun sa pinoy na GP. At least siya, maisulat niya in medical language kung ano gusto mong sabihin. Tapos, etong referral letter ang dalhin mo sa Aussie ophtha.

Baka kasi po maikot mo na buong Oz, wala ka pa din mahanap na pinoy eye specialist po kasi. Sa pagkakaalam ko, wala talaga. Whereas pinoy GP, madami yan. Lalo sa sydney.

normal naman yung you take medication pero it does not work ... simply go back to the GP and explain .. d naman po kailangan sundin .... just tell the GP its not working !, have you tried asking your GP to explain a bit further ? or pwede nga na kung inde ka satisfied you need to ask for a referral for a specialist ... ang siste po dito sa AU e inde ka po pwede dumiretso sa Specialist without a GP's refferal
