hi, pls. help. bago lng po ako dito... ask ko lng po pag po ba 457 kailangan pa mag VETASSESS? as i browse po kc parang wla ata dumaan sanyo dito ng vetassess. yung husband ko po kc ay nag work sa makati AU company po xa and then may offer xa to work dun sa main office nila which is in AU. may contract na xa di palang napadala sa kanya. pro pina process na ata nila ung visa nya parang visa subclass 457 daw. nagrereview xa for IELTS now.

Hi @bebe,

Nung prinocess ng sponsoring company ko yung Visa ko (457), the Migration Agent only asked the following from me:

• Passport front page
• CV
• Qualifications and available employment reference letter
• English evidence. IELTS. Score 5 on each band, general level
• X-ray and health insurance.

I'm in the IT field and they did not require me to provide an Assessment from one of the assessing body (ACS). Im not sure if this applies to all.

@bebe ganun din saken nun nagaapply aku ng 457 visa before, di nako nirequire ng skills assessment. Yun sa english requirement naman, nagrequest lang aku sa school ko na English yun medium of instruction.

paano po kaya process namen kasi may employer na nga po husband ko, nagrereview sya now for IELTS and then whats the next step for us. hindi po kasi sya gaano ma guide nung sa employer nya dahil bago pa lng ata sila mag sponsor e. ANYONE PLEASE PO
bali as we check ay nag fall sya for CIVIL engineer and draftsperson which is cover po ng EA at VETASSESS for assessing authority. e di ba po parang na buyPass na yun dahil hired na sya as employee? tama po ba?

You dont have to do anything you just need to wait for Instruction coming from your husbands employer ... hihingi sila ng requirements coming from you ...

@bebe yes,, assessing body din like VETASSESS.

What I did on my part was create a CV, fill up a lot of forms and get a medical.

That's it. NO IELTS, NO Assessment.

@bebe usually yun skills assessment at IELTS ginagawa lang yun for skilled migration purposes (Subclass 189 or 190) or yun permanent residence (PR) status application.
