My flight is in two weeks and I just found out about OEC. Do I need to have this to travel to Australia?

Yes, hahanapin po yan ng immigration sa pinas. Unless sa SG ka muna sabihin as tourist then fly to AU

yes, if you gonna exit PH with work visa requirement ang OEC. I have a friend who was clueless about this too, immigration did not allow him to travel. Nasayang ang ticket niya.

Nag opt ako na mag kuha na lang ng OEC for these reasons:
1. Para walang worry sa offload and possible blacklisting
2. Para di mahirapan ang partner ko once she exits Ph (di kami kasama kasi ang mahal ng visa fee lol)
3. Baka ma damay ate ko (baka may background check)

Ewan ko ba. nakaka paranoid isipin na ang daming pwede mangyari kapag di ko kinuha ang OEC.

question lang po. anu usually ang turnaround time maka pag verify ang Aus employer ng employment contract sa PH consulate or embassy don sa Aus? kasi i think need ko ang original documents once mag appointment ako for OEC dito sa Pinas.
and need pa ba mag fit to work na medical as requirement for OEC ?

another inquiry, need din ba ng OEC ang dependent/anak ko? or automatic na pag meron ako, so di na xa hahanap ng OEC pagdating namin sa immigration?

@null94, @bambamPh, Ano po ung steps for this OEC? Ngayon ko lang din nalaman to. Buti na lang nagbasa ako rito. Kkagrant lang nung visa namin eh. Ano po mga steps, I've browsing the net, POEA wbsite pero wala ako makita dun specifically for OEC... and kung mag obtain ako non, kailangna din ba si secondary holder na wife ko? TSS 482 Visa holder. Thanks po...

Wala pa ako sa Aus. Still here in Ph. I already have a visa, pero yung OEC ko na lang hinihintay ko.

Did your AU employer agree on the Addendum document required by POLO? Parang ang dami kasi conditions for an employer.

Di ko pa alam. Hahaha. I sent them everything na kailangan, sabi nila mag cocomply sila, I honestly am not in the clear pa ngayon. haha

Sa aking case, while waiting sa grant ko, nag start na ako ng pag compile ng mga documents na needed for OEC. That was Feb pa lang. Passed my medical pag April (may konting sabit tayo hehe) and now it's just the waiting game for the POLO Verified docs to arrive.

Ho @BambamPh , i just saw this thread. I am wondering ano update sa pag move mo to OZ? Nag undergo kapa ba sa oec processing or nag side trip tourist ka muna sa ibang country?

I am asking kasi waiting na rin ako sa 482 visa ko. Magmumula kami ng husband ko overseas. Kaso 2 years na din kami hindi nakakauwi ng pinas. Iniisip namin before flying to OZ e uwi muna kami kaso naiisip namin yung OEC. Hassle 😅
