Yung CO ang nagdedetermine nyan & they will only determine that for visa subclasses that are eligible for Medicare. You initially applied for a 482 visa which is not eligible for Medicare, so your kid's autism likely wasn't taken into consideration because the government won't support him anyway. Now that you are applying for PR this will be considered because your kid might need government support when he gets here in terms of being in a special class, therapy, etc. I suggest you try to get a second opinion from another agent. Ang alam ko the threshold is $40k in government support over a certain period of time. Pag di aabot dyan, walang problema. But you have to consider iba yung pay scale dito vs sa atin & they also consider the availability of the support needed e may skills shortage here. I think the CO can also give you an option to sign a health waiver wherein you will have to shoulder part of the costs associated with your kid's condition & will not fully rely on the government. I think best to get a second opinion rather than risk a visa rejection for all of you.

Question po. Nag lodge po kmi ng PR last month. Thank you
