Minimum points for 189 invite

Just sharing our recent blog regarding minimum points if some of the popular occupations who got invited from offshore. I don’t think a lot are aware about priority points only apply for 189 and 491 (family stream).

San po kaya pwede lodge ng EOI - 189 visa for Mechanical Engineer (233512)?

based po sa agent ko below lang daw pwede ko applyan:
· South Australia – Subclass 491
· Victoria – Subclass 190 and Subclass 491
· Australian Capital Territory - based on Matrix points
· Western Australia – Subclass 491

Hmm…I don’t think I quite understand the question. You don’t need to nominate a state when lodging EOI for 189.

Hi Ms. Rhea, oh yeah hindi pala kailangan ng state nomination for 189. How about for 190?
I’m wondering if only VIC lang pwede mag lodge ng 190 for Mechanical Engineer at the moment

Did you ask your agent why? If you have your agent they should be explaining all these to you. You’re paying them so Dapat na-explain sayo all these or if you’re somehow confused, you should be able to ask your agent these questions. From what you earlier posted your agent provided you a list of states you can lodge an EOI for. It looks like he/she is on the right track. Nsw and Victoria are the only states open to sponsor offshore on a 190. Get your money’s worth, discuss these things with your agent. I think it’s a matter of explaining the differences of the subclass visas yung kailangan mo discuss with them 😉

plan ko sana mag submit ng EOI this Sunday, timing ko lang mag 8years yung Work Experience ko.
gusto ko sana mag claim ng skilled partner points, can I use my wife's ACS result kahit expired na?
or need talaga dapat yung kaming dalawa yung magrenew for ACS?

Pwede po kayang magsubmit ng new eoi for visa 189/190 while holding a visa 489 (SA state sponsored)? Working and living na din po sa SA.

Pwede po magapply ng 189/190 dahil wala restrictions sa 489 di katulad ngayon sa 491. Kelangan ln po iconsider yung cost, kung valid pa or need na iredo yung docs ( skills assessment, english test result) saka ung nomination requirements ng mga state (e.g., SA requires working in nominated occupation ranges from 6 months - 24 months).

Kung eligible na po kayo sa 887, apply na po kayo kaso mejo may katagalan din yung grant nito ngayon.

  • apply for permanent residence, if eligible, through the Skilled—Regional (Residence) visa (subclass 887)

Wala po palang nakasulat sa visa489 unlike sa visa491 ng restrictions.

kasi Provisional ang 491 kaya once granted hindi ka na pwedeng magapply ng 189 or 190. Kung di pa nagrant yung visa, and nalodge mo na, pwede siya iwithdraw then ilodge yung 189 or 190.

Exactly….I don’t see any reason why one would do such thing. Very impractical to do so if you think about how much it will cost you.
