blacksmithblacksmith PhilippinesPosts: 16Member

Hello po, newbie here. Ask ko lang for this specific scenario, for example:

I am a 189 visa holder inilagay ko sa EOI ko is with de facto, nasa AU na ko. My partner is nasa pinas and may baby kami. Question is, paano ko kaya makukuha mag-ina ko sa pinas?

Btw, mag DIY lang po ako hoping pinoyau could help me with this. Maraming salamat!

If included sila sa application mo, you should be able to bring them without problems? Or hindi ba sila included as dependents?

It will cost you more to apply for partner visa later. Best to include them in your application. They can just enter Australia with you to activate their visa and they go back home after. Once your settled they can join you in Australia without any visa issue by then.

Since your 189 visa has already been granted, your de facto will need to lodge either 'Partner Subclass 309 Visa' or 'Partner Subclass 820 Visa' depending on whether the applicant is in Australia or outside at the time lodgement.

Subsequently, your child will need to apply for a 'Dependent Child Visa (Subclass 445)' with the mother.

oh! I see good idea. Thank you for the suggestion. I agree, nag compute ako ng estimate cost if ever I applied separate visa for both of us..costly compared sa one application only. Plus the waiting game din pag separate visa.

Thank you so much @cucci @RheaMARN1171933
