Hello, I’m new here and it’s my first time posting a question and hoping for your responses/insights. Is anyone here have dependent and is enrolled in a masters program with PQP? Kamusta naman po ang working rights ni dependent? Is it limited or unlimited? Thank you

What is PQP? I don't think I've heard of that. What specific program are you looking into and which school?

@athelene, Postgraduate Qualifying Program po.. If your school in PH is categorized as level 3 ng AU, they provide additional subjects and they call it PQP. Pero part pa din sya ng masters program

Hmm I've never heard of it before, but generally work rights of dependents will be based on what the student is studying. If studying a master's degree (coursework or research), the dependent may be given unlimited work rights.
The work restriction that would apply on the student visa holder themselves will be different, especially kung coursework ang master's degree. If master by coursework yan, your work rights will be the 48 hours per fortnight, as the unlimited work rights only apply to those studying a master by research or PhD.
