Try nyo din po magsearch sa forums baka may nakasagot na ng tanong nyo. Best to start studying your options fast, 45 lang po ata ang age limit for most work/migration related visas.

You can research about visa 482, hindi kailangan ng age limit.

But I don't think he can apply for PR after 1 year kahit nasa 482 visa siya. Due to age restriction. Unless may ibang pathway na hndi requirements ang age. Correct me if I'm wrong.

AFAIK if you're sponsored under a DAMA agreement the age limit for the PR visa is higher, 50 years old yata. However, you will have to find an employer who is allowed to hire specifically under DAMA and ensure that the employer will eventually sponsor you for PR. Hindi lahat ng nagssponsor ng work visa ay willing to sponsor for PR after several years. You can read about DAMA here:
