VETASSESS Negative Assessment Outcome next steps Web Designer - ANZSCO 232414

Hi there,

I just want to ask pano kaya next steps ko? I just got my assessment result and it came out negative. The reason is ung Bachelors Degree ko ay equivalent ng AQF Associate Degree.

The reason is below:
Field of study Entertainment and Multimedia Computing
with Specialization in Digital Animation is not highly relevant as:
The field of study is relevant, but the
qualification is below the required
educational level.

May way pa kaya para mag comeup to as positive? I've called them pero advise lang nila is to ask the assessor for an explanation then do reassessment and lastly, appeal if di pa din nag positive.

Diyan kasi ako nag fail kaya di na inassess ung employment ko.

May tips pa po ba kayo? hehe

Experience:
2019 - 2020: UI/UX Designer and Developer
2020 - 2022: Multimedia Specialist - UI/UX
2022 - present: Sr. Web App Product Designer (UI/UX)

VETASSESS ung assessing authority ng Web Designer

Though I plan to have an assessment din sa ACS for Multimedia Specialist naman. Di ko lang alam if I should push through since ung degree din na binigay saken ng VETASSESS is ung degree ko ay equivalent ng Level 6 – Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree

Kung ako nasa kalagayan mo, magpapa assess nalang ako sa ACS. Mukhang mas may laban yung 2612* anzsco. Yung school mo, New Era, is in section 2 so medyo babaan mo nalang expectation mo. Pero i doubt na magiging unsuitable namqn. Bawiin mo nalang sa ibang bagay yung points na kukulangin from your educ qualification. Do you have certifications/prof trainings related to your course etc? Isama mo sa applications.

Hindi kasi ako familiar sa guidelines ng vetassess haha kaya sa ACS kita naireco.

Wala pa ako nakkitang certifications/prof training related sa course ko haha. Pero kung tama pagkaaintindi ko, if ACS ako, at inassess din nila as equivalent ng AQF Associate Degree ung degree o, kelangan ko ata ng 5 or 6 years experience para mag result as positive outcome ung assessment. Going 5th year naman na ako sa July so siguro try ko.

@svesplana - pero nacontact mo na ba assessor to ask for an explanation? Baka naman ma-address pa. Importante malaman mo muna ano ang culprit at kung magagawan ba ng paraan.

If money is not an issue, isabay mo na nga ACS.

Yup contacted Vetassess naman na. Pero yeah, I plan to have an assessment woth ACS as well. Kasi 6 years na din exp ko by next year. Sa ACS kasi based sa nabasa ko, maaassess as positive pa din kahit ung degree is equivalent lang ng AQF diploma/Associate Degree pero need ng 6 years exp. Hopefully, mag click ako dun. Second to the last option ko kasi ACS haha.

Btw, if I may ask, san po kyo grumadiate?
