@danyan2001us Hi! Ask ko lang yung wife mo ba ang nagaaral ng Master in Professional Accounting? Graduate kami parehas ng husband ko ng accounting. Yung husband ko CPA at MBA na rin. Sa tingin mo mas ok ba na Bachelors Degree in Accounting o MPA just in case we (either of us) opted to study in AU? Mahirap ba or carry lang based from your wife experiences. Hoping for your reply. Thanks!

Yes, si mrs ang nag study ng Masters in Commerce (Professional Accounting) ....ang kaibahan lang kasi ng kurso niya at saka ng Maters in Professional accounting ay ang nauna may electives siya na four subjects kaya 2 years siya while the other one is 1.5 years. Mas maigi siguro pag ikaw ang mag aaral considering na hindi naman linya ni hubby mo ang experience niya (not accounting related) anyway pwede pa rin kau makakuha ng points from his credentials later on. Masters na kunin nyo para magiging unlimited work rights si hubby mo.

hi po,, kuya dan, laking tulong po ng blog na ito,, may concern lng po ako.. si hubby ko po ay nag-aayos n po ngayon ng documents nya through Fortrust Education Agent dito sa PINAS, balak nya sa chisholm melbourne siya mag-aral under SVP... kasama nya din po ako, hopefully by JAN 2016 papunta n po kami dyan sa MELBY. Ask ko lng po based po sa mga experiences ninyo, di po ba mahirap kung kasama nya na agad ako? since part time lng din po kami pwede mag-work, di po ba mahirap po makahanap ng work dyan? SOFTWARE/IT po dito sa hubby ko,, ako naman kahit anong work ok lng sa akin basta magkasama kami :-) Sir Dan, i hope to get some feedback/comments to you po...

Hi Belle, just call me kuya dan...anyway mas maganda nga magkakasama na kau pagpunta dito para makakatulong kayo sa isat isa in terms of finances, moral support, emotional support, spiritual support....i can't and won't make any direct comment since it is a case to case basis when it comes to finding a job here....but i would be honest with you...medyo mahirap talaga lalo na sa mag uumpisa pa lang...ut if you are determined enough to fulfill your dreams then you are ready to take the risk....good luck sis....

@danyan2001us Thanks! Meron ka ba mairecommend na affordable Uni? So dapat pala Masteral na para unlimited work ang husband ko. Kapag Diploma/Bachelor Degree ba limited lang to 40 hrs per fortnight? Ask ko lang din bakit yung wife mo nag Advance Accounting diploma (tama ba?) hindi na lang straight sa masteral? Sa Melbourne din kami just in case:)

Hello po. Newbie po ako dto sa Toowoomba Australia.. Student visa po ang hawak ko. Im 19 years old po and nakarating ako dto last 28th of June ng mag isa. Naiwan family ko sa Pinas. Im living with my Aunt po ngayon. Well honestly mejo parang nadedepress ako kasi nahohome sick po ako. Wala nga akong friends dto sa Australia kaya mas lalo po akong nasasad.. Kelangan ko lang talaga ng new friend dto sa Australia para ma-soothe naman ung homesickness ko.. Kuya baka may advice pa kayo kung ano pa mga dapat kong gawin para gumaan naman ung feelings ko kahit papano..

Helo Gycelle....thanks for sharing your story to us...anyway one of the ways in which you can settle with your feeling of being homesick is by extending your support group....make as many friends as you can....explore the surroundings at for sure marami ka mamemeet na friends dyan...be strong at walang atrasan na ito hehe....laki ng na invest natin dito kaya dapat lakas ang loob natin...hope that helps

try to check yong school nila mrs ang name ay federation university....nag advanced diploma pa si mrs dahil at that time (2010) pwede pa mag apply ng pr ang diploma before but then at that time then binago nila ang policy na bachelors and up such as masters ang maka apply nr pr kaya nag masters na naman siya....yes you are right limited ng 40 hours per fort night ang diploma at saka bachelors....

Nag ttiyaga lang din mag apply sa mga job openings pero hndi pa pinapalad..natatawagan naman ng recruiter but australian citizen ang hinahanap nila palagi. Tanong ko lang po kung may mga companies rin na naghhire ng under student dependent visa? Thank you.

hi chele...thanks for your query...with your query i would be honest to tell you na medyo mahirap nga maghanap ng work lalo na student visa pa kayo at mas lalo na if hindi masyters kinukuha ng sino man student sa inyo...anyway grow and extend your support group....make as many friends as you can...ang work namin pareho ni mrs ay nakuha namin thru referrals....God bless the two of you....

yw sis...yes unlimited work rights ka so that would be an advantage to both of you then during school holidays wala na rin siyang limit ...mahaba ang break during the 2nd sem from nov till feb so banat work nyan na period ....

i think pwede naman as long as you achieve the required number of points at saka pasado ka sa mga requirements.....kaya lang sa formal procedure is wala akong alam doon...mas maganda nga un kasi makakasave ka ng malaki but honestly i'm not sure if you need to go offshore kasi first step naman dyan is EOI di ba? mas mabuti siguro you go and visit IDP at medyo mas authority sila dyan kaysa akin.....

Makikisawsaw lang. Depending on your case, pero you definitely need a current skills assessment for the EOI. You may or may not get it during the duration of 573.
