I have proof of funds but I don't have a job yet when moving there.

Kami, we got our own apartment 1 month after landing... Wala pa kami job nun; what we did was wrote a letter lang sa agent describing our situation and we attached a copy of our bank statement.

Pumayag naman... As we really liked the place, we were ready to pay in advance a few months para lang makuha. Good thing it was not needed na.

Is there an ideal or atleast a minimum amount of money in bank statement to convince an agent lets say for a fmily of 3. Any personal opinion?

Call ito ng owner ng bahay... Sila naman mag decide whether or not tanggapin nila ang application mo.

kung wala pa kayong job you can include a reference letter from your previous landlord overseas (if applicable) and tell the agent you are willing to pay 2 or 3 months advance to show you are serious.

just some tips i read online
