Mam @vangie and @ska1119 ano pong email address ang pinagtanungan nyo po ng aims result nyo? Gusto ko rin po sanang malaman yung result nung sakin para makapag apply na po ng exam sa March kung fail. Ang email lang po kasing natanggap ko eh yung pinapaalam lang nila na nasend na nila yung result thru international post. Not the result po mismo. Thank you po sa sagot.

Share ko lang ang mga failures ko in the past starting nung nakatapos ako ng Med.Tech. at simula ng mapapunta ako dto..I've registered for my board exam in the Philippines 2x, 1st ay dahil hindi ako naka-attend and 2nd one is ayun nakapasa nman ako...then after 2 years I took an ASCPi exam but unfortunately I failed it for some silly reasons..

Then when I migrated here,naka- 4 attempts ako for driving test and then again because of some silly reasons, ung 4th ko ay nakapasa nman ako and the beautiful part about it is they gave me full licence instead of just giving me a P plate..the reason being is I know pang 4 ko na un so ngpractice tlg ako ng sagad so nakita nman nila na ok nman ako mgdrive the fact na never ako ngdrive sa pinas except sa driving school and Im of mature age kya nabigyan ako ng full licence plus pinakita ko ung expired ko na driver's licence from Philippines lol!

I've re-booked IELTS 3x and re-take it 2x coz my 1st one got low band score.

Then failed interviews ko pa dto and tong last failure ko mejo nakakahiya pero ganon tlg eh..Ngcocontemplate nako dati pa to join AUstralian Defence Force even nung bago plng ako dto, I really dont know why pero gusto ko tlg mgjoin dati pa..inintay ko muna ma-PR ako then kinausap ko muna c hubby if ok lang na mgstart ako ng application for an Army Reservist Scientific Officer lang nman ang target ko kc I still want to have a civilian life..so ngstart ako 2 weeks ago na mag research and ng attend ako ng info session..then just yesterday, I scheduled myself for a YOU (your opportunities unlimited) session which is comprised of aptitude test, career counselling, documents and medical assessment..though alam ko na marami pako kulang na requirements like citizenship, AIMS exam, my fitness etc. still ng attend ako pra lang malaman ko what to expect tlg and if I really want it..so I prepared for every available documents except for an aptitude test, dahil xgro over confident ako or hind ko lang ineexpect na ganon kahirap ung aptitude test, pang lab. tech. lang ung level ng aptitude test ko..to make the long story short, I didn't continue with the application since wla pako AIMS, mababa aptitude test ko and Im a bit overweight.. I just have to re-sit the aptitude test after 6 months and pass the AIMS exam and no need for local lab experience, at least may time ako for AIMS and my fitness for the next 6 months..and now, less than 4 months nalang before the March 2017 pero hindi prn ako nkkpagreview ng maayos lol!

yan ang story ng failures ko but after that something really amazing came out of it, well most of the time lol!...My only mistake I guess is laziness, I can't say na sobrang talino or sobrang bobo ko its just that I refused to give up.. sa mga visa applications ko lang ata ako pinaka successful (even nung ng-apply ako for tourist sa USA na im still in temporary visa), meaning walang any problem, smooth flowing lahat even mga tourist visa ng family ko .

I shared this to uplift anyone's spirits and tell urself na hindi lahat ay puro success or failures lang..that is part and beauty of life ;-)

@Aiza05 thank you for the morphine dose. Ang hirap nito parang regular severe pain, ilang oras lng ang effect ng morphine, ayan nanaman ung pain. May take time to be back in one' own senses again...

@ska1119 sis ang alam ko maka-claim ka pa din ng 15 points for the degree at 10 points for IELTS kung 7 and up yung score mo sa lahat.. you can claim 20 points sa IELTS kung kaya mo ipush na 8.0 and up sa lahat..

Sa mga future na kukuha ng exam sana makahelp tong simple tips ko..

Aral kayong mabuti sa exam kse walang choices kaya hindi kau makakahula.

There's little room for errors kse parang 20 something questions lang per subject.

Kelangan nio makakuha ng 50% na tamang sagot sa lahat ng subjects, kaya don't focus sa isang subject lang.

Hindi kasing lawak ng AMT or ASCP ung coverage ng AIMS, so stick lang kayo sa topics na naka-list dun sa study guide.

Ang tip sa akin ng husband ko.. i-divide ko ung review period ko na 3 months into the number of subjects. So about 2 to 3 weeks per suject. Tapos or hindi tapos ung inaaral ko sa subject na un, after 2 weeks lipat ako sa next subject. Para macover nio at least 75% ng kelangan aralin per subject. Kung may extra time kayo at maaga nio natapos ung isang subject, balikan nio ung mga naiwan niong topics sa previous subjects. Ganyan ung ginawa ko na pagreview.

@vangie working ka ba sis? Alam ko mahirap isabay sa work yung pagrereview or kung may baby na. Nakakahinayang din yung binayad sa exam.

Pero look at the brighter side. Na-experience mo na ung actual na exam. At alam mo na ung mga topics na hindi mo nacover pero posibleng lumabas. Tsaka fresh pa ung mga inaral mo. If ako yung nasa situation mo, magreretake ako ng exam sa March.

Nung ngrereview ako, wala akong ibang ginagawa kundi magreview kse hindi ako working that time at wala pa ako baby. Pero may moments na nakakatamad na mgreview. Nakakaumay na magbasa ng notes, at kelangan pa ako dalhin ng hubby ko sa library at samahan sa library para i-push ako na mag-aral. Haha! Pero looking back, thankful ako kay hubby sa pagpush sa akin na mag-aral at sa mga tips nia sa akin.

Hindi ko marerecommend na mag-visa 190 as Med Lab Tech.. kse mahihirapan kau humanap ng work sa regional areas. Unless you have enough savings to support you for 6 months to 1 year na walang work. Kung may baby kayo may support from government pero hindi enough yun to cover all your expenses. Kaya better kung kaya nio i-push sa visa 189 as MLS.

Matindi ang competition dito sa Aus kse marami din silang local grads na nghahanap ng work. Although known ang Pinoys for good work ethics at yun ang advantage natin sa ibang lahi.

Don't lose hope. Meron ngang iba dito sa forum na 4 to 5 times ngtake ng IELTS para makuha yung band 7 at magkaroon ng additional 10 points.

Pero kung makakuha ka ng SSS na nakalagay naman na deducted from your salary from Company A.. pwede siguro.. tapos samahan mo na lang ng supporting document na employment contract..
