Help naman po mga masters! (query about visa application)

Hi po sa lahat. Matagal tagal na rin akong nagbabasa dito pero ngaun lang ako nakapag decide na mag migrate sa OZ under the skilled independent visa. Na inspire ako ng triumphs at perseverance ng mga forumers natin. hehe. At dahil dito, gusto ko po sanang hingin and mga advice nyo regarding sa mga katanungan ko, :-D Maraming salamat po sa mga magbabasa at mag she share ng kanilang nalalaman. :-D

1. 25 years old po ako, licensed chemist, category 1 school. As of this moment, 2 years and 3 months pa lang po ang work experience ko. Sa tingin nyo po, worth it ba na mag apply na ko ngaun (July next year daw kasi mas mahirap na) or magpadami pa po ako ng work exp para mas may chance na ma approve ang application?


2. Plan ko pong kumuha ng migration agent. May info po ba kau kung ok na agent si Ms. Lita Mahle ng PALMS? Siya kasi balak kong kunin. Mga gano po kaya katagal ang processing from start until approval ng visa at magkano magiging expenses. hehe. (hopefully ma approve [-O< )

2. Pwede na po ba kong mag apply for visa using an agent kahit na wala po ako sa Pinas ngaun? Hindi ba nun mahi hindered ang processing ko ng papers with my agent? Nag wo work po kasi ako ngaun dito sa Saudi. Ok lng ba kahit wala sakin ang passport ko, nasa employer ko kasi. :-(

medyo mahirap sagutin ang mga tanong mo pero we'll try...

1. Work Exp wise medyo mahirap ata kasi alam ko mganda points is around5yrs exp.
2. Yes mas maganda magpaassess ka muna sa agent para hindi sayang ang buong bayad mo sa application kung hindi ka talaga qualified, marami rin naman honest na agent but as for Ms. Lita Mahle -- hindi ko po cya kilala, if in doubt mag preliminary assessment ka rin sa ibang mga kilalang AGENT, and as per TotoyOz make sure to check na registered MARA agent magaasess sayo. preliminary assessment is usually FREE -- From there pa lang maaadvisan ka na kung qualified ka or hindi.
3. pwede ka mag apply ng visa -- kasi may friend ako dito sa SG -- Agent nya is REspall migration na naka base sa pinas -- kasi ikaw pa rin gagawa ng mga docu like detailed work exp mo... and other COE collation. magsisilbing Thesis Teacher lang sila sayo sa pag gather ng mga docs mo.

@Methylester, we share the same thought...The visas favor the young and the experienced. Get some work experience first...get at least 4 years of solid experience.

If you are decided to migrate to Australia now (and not later), you might be better off applying for a Student Visa instead

@therealaids as far as i can remember, VETASSES requires only 1 year of solid employment in the nominated occupation. You have a better chance of getting positive assessment and accumulate sufficient points on REGIONAL state sponsorhip visa (475). Your age and school (section 1) weigh up the most.

@LokiJr, dun nga ko nagdadalawang isip hehe, gawa ng 2 years pa lng work exp ko. Ok din po sana student visa kaso wala kong millions e (kaylangan daw kasi ata un as proof na kaya mong suportahan sarili mo pagdating mo sa OZ). hehe. tnx sa advice!

@tootzkie, naku, sana tama ang pagkakatanda mo hehe. sabi naman nila, ung total points ang basis, pag kulang ng konti sa exp, daanin sa ibang factors or vice-versa. nalilito nako hehe. yup, sabi ng agent ko, under 475 nga raw ang best option ko. naku, bahala na. sana bigyan ako ng sign mula sa taas kung ano maganda gawin hehe. tnx sa advice!

Hi! sa manufacturing ako, water po ang product namin. nag change ng nominated occupation ako, Chem tech na ngaun, kasi paang Research pala ang chemist description sa Australia. more on routine chemical analysis lang kasi mga naging work ko hehe. bakit iba yung code ng chemist mo? ANZSCO code po ba yan? Sa Perth po. Hindi kasi pasok ang accumulated points ko para sa Melbourne, hehe. Kau po, saan sa Aus ang punta nyo?

@methylester oo chem tech pag water analysis. Ung experiences ko kc sakto sa Chemist description ng AU kc research and development ang work ko eh. Kaya tau magkaiba kc chem tech nominated sau sakin ay chemist Sa sydney ang punta ko. Wla nga halos opening ng work eh nghhanap ako sa seek. Sa perth yta marami especially sa water testing...

yup, research dapat ang field para ma nominate sa chemist. hehe. wala po ako kilalang chemist na nag apply for migration sa AU. yung sakin, d pa sure kung matutuloy eh hehe. goodluck satin!

@LokiJr, aw, hnd p pala ko nakapag update ng signature. May result na po. negative as chemist eh, hnd na credit ung work experience kasi more on routine ung chemical tests sa exp ko instead of research. ung education lng na credit for chemist. nakapag pa re assess nako as Chemistry Technician, tapos within 5 days nung submission ko ng re assessment, may result na, positive! yey! (doble gastos tuloy, tsk tsk)

waiting for result ng take2 ng IELTS n lng, hopefully maka all 7. kaso sobrang kinakabahan ako sa listening, na distract kasi ako dun sa proctor, lakad ng lakad sa harap ko. bahala na kung anu maging resulta hehe. tnx for all your help LokiJr!

2.5 years p lng po kasi work exp ko, kaya 0 point.. Aun.. may way pa kaya para makalusot ako sa pagfile before july 1? o better luck next time n? hehe. huhu

things happen for a reason.. just believe na kaya mo..

here are my suggestions:
1) the only way is for you to re-take IELTS and get 7 on each band - so additional 10 pts yan, if kaya pa, you can schedule on June...
2) but even if you have the IELTS, kakapusin ka na sa oras for SS.. - additional 10pts
3) 6 months na lang may additional 5 pts kana for Work Experience..

pag nagawa mo lahat yan.. you will have 70 pts in total...

based on the timeline, malamang aabutan ka na ng skill select... but dont loose hope, baka skill select will better work for you.. assuming may 70 pts kana.. mas higher priority ka na compared sa mga 65 pts lang...

Other things na pwede pagkunan ng points
- if you have a partner/spouse skills assement - 5pts, kaso this will take time ulit..

if im in your position i will:
1) retake IELTS as soon as possible
2) apply SS immediately after IELTS... and hopefully before Jul1.. para pwde ka magtransition to skillsellect.. i heard na ung mga may SS approved pero hindi naka apply before Jul1 will get automatic invitation to apply for visa under skillsellect..

in short, weigh your situation and other consideratons (budget/time).. kung kaya pa.. go ahead..
otherwise.. wait for skill select..

Hi lock_code, un na nga lang din ang iniisip ko, na things happen for a reason talaga. gustuhin ko mang mag take ulit ng IELTS, wala ng slot, hehe. August na ang earliest na may slot. baka ganun n lng gawin ko, wait mag 3 years work experience then, ielts ulit + SS, para maka 70 pts, then skill select. hoping n lng na mabigyan ng invitation since konti lng naman kaming magcocompete sa field ko, sana.. hehe. Hmmm mukhang marami naghahabol sa IELTS, dati kasi nun ako naghahabol din, kahit few days before exam date ako nagregister tinanggap pa din ng BC. Ngayon months ahead fully booked na. Sobra dami naman ata gusto mag-exam.
