@bentassassin30 - wala ako sa SG, yung agent ko lang hehehe.. Malamang kailangan ko umuwi for NBI. Yun na lang siguro muna dahil kailangan pang planuhin yung air tickets naming tatlo at schedule ng leave sa kumpanya. Tsaka ko na muna siguro isipin yung medical at police check dito sa current location ko. Salamat sa advice.

Mukhang gusto mong magpayaman dre a . Sabi daw kasi mataas kita sa oil and gas. Share mo experiences mo pre - like additional training or study needed, voluntary / experience needed while waiting, etc. Kunsabagay interesting nga yung field na yun.

@Azriel Hi there. Since 489 nakalagay dyan so assumption ko may family ka sa state na pupuntahan mo or state ang nagsabing ganyan yung ifile mo? Kung wala kang family sa Oz so malamang state nom ang gusto mong tahakin or nagsimula ka na ng steps?

NT ang napili namin, though sabi open ang taz, pero sa requirement nila sabi kelangan may work offer na pag nag apply ng SS. Not sure about this really.

from this process mga aabutin pa ng ilang buwan bago makuha ang visa approval? ty.

Mga katropa , I just lodge my visa application today. Sabi ng consultant ko it takes 6 to 9 months processing...dont know whether true or not the processing time

@tolits sa expatforum may naglodge ng june30 then visa grant ng aug26. NT SS 489 din siya.

NT SS - 3~4weeks; 190 visa grant from lodge based on google drive data from pinoyau is 3.5months average. So Kung medyo mabilis at walang delay ang in-between processing mo siguro nasa minus 5months ka na. Sana tama ako...

Agree ako dun sa data ni bent. Malamang 190 at 489 ay almost same processing lang yun. Based dun sa google data ng pinoyau ang current TAT ay nasa 3.5months average.

wala naman specific reason na nilagay basta sabi lang after careful considerations, unsuccessful daw....

well, ndi cguro tlga kami meant for NT... so abang nlang sa ibang states uli mag open..

Kelan ka nag submit ng NT SS mo? waiting kami ng result sa amin. Praying na ma approve. God always has the last say talaga. Pero I hope sa occupation natin may ibang state na mag open. di ba daw pwede I appeal if unsuccessful?

@han_min sorry to hear that bro...antay2 n lang ulit kung may mag-oopen n ibang states sa occupation mo. Ung visa application ko 2 weeks n wala p ring case officer...

Separate EOI oo pwede. . Sa case ko nga hindi unsucessful, but I was given 489 by NT. My preference is 190 so I applied for another state nomination at SA for 190, and was blessed to have 2 visa invites on 2 EOIs.

I went ahead with SA 190 and let the NT visa invite expired naturally.

Hi all, I'm planning to apply for NT since un lang ang state na currently open for my NO. I don't want to go for it only for this reason, I want to really appreciate NT and hopefully accept it as our future place of settlement. Can anybody tell me what's it like there? Hindi kasi masyadong sikat ang NT kaya hindi ako masyado makakuha ng info re the way and feel of living there. Thanks in advance.

@j0wnaGurl - pinas weather kasi nga tropical, expensive housing and food but slightly higher salary, best beaches, youngest state, young couples and young adults ang mostly andun, nagkakabagyo din... good place to start kung wala ng ibang choices especially kung may trabaho ng nagaantay..
