hello po, meron po bang galing UP dito? if sa 457 visa processing diba need na reqt ung iverify mo na ung mode of study nung college is English para inde ka na reqd mag-IELTS. May kumuha ba nun? or enough na ung Diploma and Certificate from College is in English?

    Hi. Question po. Kasi ang nakalagay, ang secondary applicant at least functional english lang ang required. Enough na po ba ang certificate from school/ college na english was used as a medium of instruction? Para hindi na kelangan mag ielts since 2ndary applicant lang naman. Tama ba pagkakaintindi ko? Thanks in advance.

    @jay30 @yotsuba sa pagkakaintindi ko depende kung saang school yan, pero parang from countries where English is the first language talaga, i.e. US, UK. Pag dependent naman mas mababang score ang requirement (OBS 6 lang ata?). Maigi nang mag-exam para sigurado tsaka magagamit rin siguro yan pag mag-a-apply ng trabaho or for local accreditation in Australia na.

    @jay30, kung di naman po kayo magcclaim ng partner’s points, pwede na po kahit di na magexam ng IELTS ang partner. Cert. of English as medium of study from university is already enough. Now kung kelangan nyo magclaim ng partner’s points, required po c partner magtake ng IELTS.

    @yotsuba, yes, required ka pa rin po magtake ng IELTS kung ikaw ang primary applicant.

    @yotsuba, as u are applying on a 457 visa no need nang mag IELTS if graduate kna mn ng college. Kailangan mo lg kumuha ng certificate from your university stating that English is the medium of instruction of your university. As I know halos lahat ng universities and colleges alam na to ehh..

    06-01-11: Arrived Australia (457 visa dependent on my dad)
    28-05-12: Lodged RSMS 857 visa (seperate from my dad already)
    28-06-12: Done Medical check
    30-10-12: Submit AFP check
    07-11-12: Went home on a bridging visa B for holiday and wedding..:)
    12-01-13: CO allocated and nomination approved
    18-01-13: CO asked documents of my husband to be included on my application as migrating dependent..Thank u LORD!
    15-02-13: Husband completed all requirements (police check, medical, english requirements and joint statement)
    15-02-13: CO issued pre-grant letter instructing hubby to apply tourist visa to enter Australia in order our 857 visa to be granted.
    27-02-13: Hubby applied Subclass 676 tourist visa.
    06-03-13: Hubby's tourist visa approved.
    16-03-13: Hubby arrived Australia.
    18-03-13: Our RSMS 857 visa granted.. (nothing to ask more)

    @yotsuba, ayun naman pala, exempted ka na pala sa IELTS. Atleast can speak vocational english lang pala ang required for subclass 457. Kahit papano, bawas na rin sa gastos yan at bawas stress na rin.
