457 VISA - DEPENDENT TYPE ( 2014 RECENT FORUM )

Para sa mga isinama lang ng partner nila whose working in australia under 457 visa.

Information upon acquiring visa grant notice from DIBP as secondary/dependant type 457 visa holder:

1. Ang need lang natin to pass sa immigration sa airport ay ang:
1.1. Visa grant notice
1.2. Valid passport
1.3. One way plane ticket

2. We do not need:
2.1. PDOS from CFO or ung sticker na sinasabi from them dahil hindi naman tau emigrant
2.2. PDOS from POEA or ung cert. of employment overseas dahil wala pa naman taung employment contract from employer sq aussie. Pupunta tau dun ng walang work.
2.3. To go to bureau of immigration kasi hindi naman nila alam ang type ng visa natin.

3. At same lang din ng primary 457 holder, we can also work in australia with defined number of hours per week or forthnight.

4. Sa mga nakarating na sa australia holding this type of visa ( 457 visa dependant type ), please share naman kayo kung ano pa ang dapat i-aquire ng mga holder para walang maging problem sa immigration sa airport, same thing as when we would arrive in australia.

@lester_lugtu Thanks so much! Finally may nahanap na rin akong kasagutan sa tanong kung kailangan ba ng return ticket ng 457 dependent. Ilang araw ko nang sinusubukan tawagan ang hotline ng immigration para mag-tanong, wala namang sumasagot. Thanks again
