Heto din po, if married po ba kelangan pa ng proof of living together like bills, titles etc? Pagkaintindi ko ksi pag de facto lang? Or for ref kelangan din namin magsubmit ng proof of billings, etc? Sa mga married po anu attached nyo? Thanks!

    >Spouse or de facto partner

If you are married or in a de facto relationship, provide evidence of a genuine and continuing relationship with your partner at the exclusion of all others.
If you are married provide a scanned colour copy of marriage certificate or relationship registration for you and your partner
For de facto relationships this should include evidence that you have been in the relationship for at least 12 months at time of application. Evidence can include, but is not limited to, joint bank account statements, billing accounts in joint names, other evidence of cohabitation etc).

@EAP- Kung ok na points ni hubby mo. CEMI(Certificate of English Medium of Instruction) is needed from you as the dependent. Kelangan mo din yung TOR mo. If you don't have CEMI/TOR, you need to take IELTS with an equivalent 4 on each band.

@IslanderndCity- sorry it should be an average of 4.5 score. Or functional English.
    @EAP - please see correction ..

    https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/189-/Skilled-Independent-visa-(subclass-189)-document-checklist

    Family members English language ability
For each of your dependent applicants who are aged 18 years or older at the time of application must provide evidence of Functional English. If the applicant does not have evidence of having Functional English, you will need to provide a statement indicating your intention to pay the second instalment of the visa application charge.

    Functional English
"An International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test result of an average band score of at least 4.5 based on the four test components of speaking, reading, listening and writing. Your test must have been completed within 12 months of visa application lodgement or can be completed during visa application processing"

@EAP - if you want to claim points and to be added to your hubby(partner skills). You need to take Assessment and IELTS - at least 6 in each band.
if okay na ang points ni hubby at nakapaglodge na ng EOI- CEMI/TOR is just a requirement. Or IELTS (average of at least 4.5) to apply for visa 189.

@jlexy You must have competent english ability and CEMI is not enough to prove it...

...from DIBP website re:Claiming points for Partner skills

    Partner skills:
    1. your partner’s personal documents that prove they are under 50 years of age
    2. evidence your partner has at least competent English at time of invitation.
3.a suitable skills assessment from the relevant assessing authority for your partner’s nominated occupation (which must be on the same skilled occupations list as your nominated occupation).

@jlexy Competent english...at least 6 in all subtests...Only functional english is required for other family members included in the application and CEMi is enough to prove it. Since you are claiming points for Partner Skills, Skills assessment and Competent english are required

@jlexy if the main applicant is claiming points for english ability, the minimum is 7 (10 points)..the partner claiming points for partner skills should have min 6, all other dependents should have functional english(CEMI is enough)

Ako din may question. I want to be the principal applicant instead of my husband kase masmataas ang IELTS score ko. If we make him the principal kase hindi aabot ng 60 ung total score namin. Pwede po ba na ako ang maging principal pero nasa CSOL lang ang occupation ko? And pwede ba na if maapprove kami when we get to Oz ay sya ang magwork at hindi ako na principal applicant? Sana may makatulong. Salamat po!

check appropriate Assessing Authority. Once identified (either CPAA, ICAA, IPA), check its requirements.

@stewart you may search 'de facto' dito sa forum. or you will marry her before you lodge PR visa para sabay kayo magiging PR

@SAP_TRM you both need to prove that you have to be living together for at least 12 months as de facto or married. Otherwise, no chance of applying together.
