Hi everyone,

Ano po ba ang advisable pag na open na yung VIC SS by July. Create an EOI first and then apply for VIC SS sa website nila or apply muna sa website nila and then pag naka receive ng email i provide sa knila yung EOI. Thanks po.

Question po, Developer Programmer po occupation ko. Dapat po ba 65 points na agad ako before ko i-claim ung additional 5 pts ng state nomination? or ok lang 60 pts then + 5pts (state nomination)?

They are only inviting those with 75 points as 04/04/2017 4:23 pm for your nominated occupation.

You can submit an eoi with just 60 or 65 pero chances of being invited is very low.

They are only inviting those with 75 points as 04/04/2017 4:23 pm for your nominated occupation.

You can submit an eoi with just 60 or 65 pero chances of being invited is very low.

@Xiaomau82 hmmm bakit po kaya ganun. Ang alam ko last invitation for 2613 occupation was march 28 pa kasi nareach na ceiling. Sabi sa website mag start sila ulit sa next program year which is july. Bakit meron nainvite nung april 4?

Question though, meron po akong ka-opisina dati na nasa Melbourne na ngayon.
Nung nag lodge sya ng state nomination for his visa, Adelaide sya na grant.
Ngayon wala pa syang 2 years sa Adelaide, nasa Melbourne na sya ngayon kasi naka kuha sya ng work.

Akala ko po ba kailangan mag stay ng 2 years sa kung saan state ka na grant? Actually hindi nya din alam kung mali yung ginawa nya.

once granted subclass 190, you have the obligation not a visa condition though tolive in the sponsoring state. kaya pwede ka lumipat, that is based on the current regulation.

Hello po. Hihingi lang po sana ako ng help kung saan at paano po ako magsstart for State Sponsorship sa VIC. AHpra Registered Nurse po ako, currently working dito sa VIC under 457 visa. Still waiting for anmac po and currently has 55points po. Kunin ko sana ung additional 5points sa SS para maka-apply ako ng 190VISA kaso di ko po alam process pano magapply for SS sa vic. Salamat po sa lahat ng sasagot

CONSEQUENCES OF LEAVING AND FUTURE APPLICATIONS

Being a moral obligation, there is no strike against you in future visa applications but case officers can and will take all the information they have in consideration of your visa application. So if they find that you hadn't fulfilled your 2 year requirement for the State sponsored visa, then how likely would you be in keeping with the conditions of your next visa? That's something that may be considered in the mind of the case officer.

More importantly this would be frowned upon in a citizenship application.

Like we've mentioned, if it was a simple legal obligation you'd have the simple answer of 'No you can't leave' but because it's a moral obligation, you're also in a bit of a grey area.

Hello sa lahat. Sa mga na-invite na by VIC SS, pede bang makahingi ng sample ng CV nyo? I was rejected 6 months ago try ko uli mag-apply. Since basehan nila is yung CV, which I think di ganun ka-powerful yung content ng CV ko kaya siguro ako na-reject (just my opinion hehe). Pede bang makahingi for my reference.

Hi. I am a Mechanical Engineer that applied for SS from Victoria. They are asking me why did I choose Victoria. I know that engineering is one of the in demand jobs there with their occupation list as proof.
Can somebody give me some advice/ or give me best reasons why should I pursue Victoria SS.
(My fault is that I declared that I also expressed interest for NSW SS. Maybe I should not have..)

try searching for job openings in vic. do you have any friends or relatives in vic? you can say that as a reason too.

have you selected both states in the same eoi? if yes, then you need to have a good reason why you are leaning more into migrating to vic than nsw. prospective employers would be helpful.

@Xiaomau82 thanks! Yes I do have friends in melbourne and started contacting them and told them about my plan to get SS from Victoria.
I've religiously monitoring job vacancies from Vic as well as NSW, so as to make a conclusion that Vic is better in terms of chances of landing a job.

@jacjacjac you can say that aside from having friends here in Melb, you want to establish your family once you move here and buy properties in the near future etc and based on your research property prices in melb is cheaper than sydney (that is a known fact actually). Say these as well if you like:

- Melbourne is the most liveable city in the world for consecutive years and you want to experience how good melbourne is and call melbourne your new home
- you like sports and Melbourne is the sports capital of australia
- you like food and melbourne is the food capital of australia
