I think because I didn't practice for the 2 components where I got a lower score and I observed that the speakers on the recording for the listening test speak too fast, I think they are native British... if any body out there have a latest reviewer or helpful tips, please share...thanks

Una ko inasikaso yung vetassess ko. So, nag signup lang ako for ielts after masubmit ung vetassess ko. Initially gusto ko sana mga July pa kaso nde match sa sked ko so, na move ng 22 June. Initially, gusto ko sana magreview ng formal lessons kaso sobrang mahal ng ielts review dto sa Singapore. Mas mura pa magretake nlng kesa magreview kaya nag sign up na ako.
1 month lang talaga ang preparation ko and i don't think mkakapag aral pa ako na as in everyday kasi busy din sa work. Kaso sa nababasa ko dto it is really very important na paglaanan ng time ung ielts to review and practice kaya kahit papano nagttry ako magreview after work. Although may mga days na nde mkapag review dahil sa pagod dn sa day job.
My review materials
1. Cambridge books 6-8 (yan lang ngalaw ko sa Cambridge reviewers) thanks again @Strader for sending
2. http://www.scottsenglish.com/ielts/ - nag sign up ako for 1month review which is about $49usd. Every after work pinapanood ko lang yun lessons sa page na to. Kahit nkahiga ako pinapanood ko lang at i think malaking tulong naman sya. Tapos pag hindi naman ako masyadong stress dun ako nagsasagot ng mga practice test. Both Cambridge and Scotts. Yung Scott's nga pala nabasa ko lang sa isang forum (d ko maalala kung anong page yon. Basahin nyo dn mga feedback legit naman tlg)
1. Listening- eto ang pinaka naenjoy ko aralin. Ginamit ko yung sa Scott's Practice Lab and yung Cambridge. During exam day alam ko na dapat maximum of 7 unsure answers lang ako to get at least 7.0. May mga sagot dn ako na nag alangan ako pero ang magandang ngyari hindi ako nawala talaga. Yun ang greatest fear ko sa listening. Nagdasal talaga ako na nde ako mawala kasi minsang nagreview ako as in nawala ako. At 5.5 lang nakuha ko. Important to read and understand the questions first. Pag sinabing basahin bashin at intindihin mabuti bago magsimula ang recording.
2. Reading- dito actually hindi ko sinunod ang mga advice at usual tips na skim and scan lang. Medyo mabilis kasi ako magbasa at nung sinubukan ko ang usual advice na skim at scan mababa yung nkkuha ko sa practice test. So, nagtry ako basahin ng buo pero inorasan ko pa dn sarili ko. Binasa ko muna questions then article/readings okay naman nasasagot ko naman ng nasa oras. So, i suggest try dn nyo ung what works for you guys hindi lang siguro yung mga tips kasi iba iba nman tayo. Like ako hindi ko talaga maintindihan pag skim and scan at mbilis ako magbasa kaya ok nman yun. That's what worked for me. Please bear in mind na magtira ng mas mahabang oras sa last part ng reading kasi tricky tlga yung last part eh.
3. Writing- Eto ang pinaka mahirap ipractice sa lahat! Wala kasing ngccheck at d mo alam kung tama ba mga pinag gagawa mo. For part 1 please don't neglect this kahit mas mbaba ang pts na mkkuha dto. I believe naka 7.0 pko sa writing dahil sa part 1 ko. Mas sure ksi ako sa format at structure ko sa part 1. Sa part 2 kasi medyo nataranta nako eh. Be mindful sa paragraphing, number of words at content. Dpat masagot lahat ng tanong. For part 2 sundin nyo ung writefix tips d ko masyadong nasunod actually ksi nataranta ako. Hahaha!
4. Speaking- nagpractice dn ako sa Scotts English practice lab. Sinsagot ko un questions dun sa recording. Medyo swerte dn ako at answered prayer ksi ung tanong about advertising na medyo knowledgeable tayo kaya madami akong nasabi. Nkatulong dn na araw araw puro english ang medium of communication ko kasi walang Pinoy sa office. Kaya parang ngkwentuhan lang kami ng examiner. Although feeling ko d ko masyado naaddress yung sagot sa questions sa part 2 ng speaking test kaya 7.0 lang. Pero mas okay naman saken na at least 7.0 lahat kaysa may ibang sobrang taas tpos may below 7. Irecord nyo dn sarili nyo pag ngppractice.
Lastly, i think dpat bago tayo magsimula with ielts dpat iaccept muna natin ung totoong english ability natin. Kasi tayongmga Pilipino naniniwala na magaling tayo sa english pero kung magaling talaga tayo sa english eh di sana nde na tayo nag iielts dba? Hindi natin 1st language ung english kaya kahit anong galing natin kailangan pa dn natin mag-aral at magpractice. At i-gauge natin un ability natin sa 4 aspects para alam natin san mgfofocus.
I hope kahit papano makatulong to sa mga mageexam in the future.
