    just to share the June 7's academic writing test here at British Council Dubai. I am surprised to see a comparative income statement in Task 1, I guess ielts favored accountants this time :) It is presented in a table format comparing the income and expenditures of a certain company in Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3. In Task 2, the question task is this - "In the future, it is expected that there will be higher proportion of older people that younger people in many countries. In your opinion, is this a positive or negative development."....well good luck to us while waiting until May 20!

    Hi bago lang po ako dito and umpisa pa lang ako nag rereview ng ielts... ACS po yung kinukuha ko ngayon, meron na binigay sakin yung friend ko na cambridge reviewer. Yung mga iba po ba dito eh pwede rin po makahingi ng reviewer sa inyo? Kahit mga reading materials and tips sa General Training? Yun daw po kasi dapat yung reviewhin ko yung pang GT... eto po email ko

    @johnvangie, thanks! :) Any idea mga sis paano ba ma praktis sa listening problema ni hubby medyo sa accent at konting kahinaan ng pandinig dahil sa paputok minsan ng isang New Year kaya ayun, yun ang weakness nya. Nid cguro more on praktis sya sa listening.

    Btw, na receive ko na remarking results ko kanina..dumating na pala di ako na inform hehe.. thank God at positive! From 6.5 sa writing na increase sa 7.0... speaking is as is...Oks na rin at least na refund ang binayad ko :)

    @heyits7me_mags Yes go go lang hwag mag give up! makukuha din ang desired score!

    Sa listening I think more practice nga..tsaka expect rin na minsan may mga answer silang na rerephrase para bawas sa shock factor... tas tandaan din yung mga major words or phrases... yung audio namin ng last sobrang pangit pero I think nakatulong yung tinandaan ko mga major topics na sinasabi nya kaya kahit patsamba na yung sagot cguro malapit lapit cguro sa tama...

    Also sa IDP masterclass na inattenan ko, mi tip sinabi samin na sa listening minsan yung sagot eh nung tumaas tono ng nagsasalita, minsan naman yung tono nya eh pababa pero may trail... something like dut... minsan sa dulo din daw or last sentence yung sagot.. so take consideration din nung intonation ng speaker.

    Ah ok, thanks @persephone, maganda yan pointers mo tatandaan ko yan. Iparating ko sa hubby ko. Dream nmin yung signature mo.,.galeng! Kukuha rin yta ako ng IELTS pra sa 18y/o above. Pero etong si hubby last time kasi pero 2011 pa yun 6.0 OBS nid nmin ng 8.0 kya effort talaga to get 60pts.
