hi, im new here! just wanted to ask which state has the fastest processing time for state sponsorship specially for accountants.

As at the selection process last end of July; 100 invites were sent out (90 for 189 and 10 for 489) - interesting to note that out of the 100, a total of 17 were given out to those applying as Accountants.

7 ata if I am not mistaken given for 190 (state sponsored)

but since skill select is a point based system, the higher your points the higher chance of getting invited right? lalo na sa mga visa 189.

pero kung may SS ka, based dun sa ibang mga forumers dito, upon approval of their SS dumadating agad ang kanilang invitation, kahit na ang points nila ay nasa threshold lang na 60 points.

Hi @wynx - sa pagkaalam ko, when you apply for SS all you need is to get the approval of the state and then you will immediately get your invitation from DIAC.

And yes, this would mean, it would not matter whether you get 60 or 85 pa sa pts mo...

hope we will get into your stage as well... we just submitted to CPAA last Friday! I heard they are strict (particularly with Accounting Theory) but let us see and hope for the best...

Pero from what I gather, this is technically possible by doing the ff:

(1) Apply in EOI to include only 190 and SA
(2) Apply for SA SS *
(3) Simultaneously apply for VIC SS but do not place any reference of your EOI in your application.

* if SA SS will be positive, you will immediately get the invitation from DIAC
** if VIC SS will be positive, you will get a correspondence from then asking for your EOI reference number. From there you also need to update your EOI...

Please let me know if my understanding of the above is wrong. TY!

@psychoboy honestly i also relied on your inputs, regarding SS application sa SA at V. kasi diba hindi naman required na ilagay ang EOI number upon application sa Victoria for SS. unlike sa SA. kaya naisip ko, technically pwede nga cguro. so im asking for some validation kung pwede. hehehehe..

@Wynx - your prayer moved mountains; okey na ang assessment ni misis - all subjects marked as completed and all her work experience were credited.

We will lodge a SS Application either tonight or tomorrow for VIC...
