    Grabe, nakaka-excite naman ang waiting game na ito haha.

    Mga batchmates, sino pala sa inyo ang nandito rin sa Singapore? Ang balak ko kasi eh after ma-grant yung visa this month, eh lipad na agad ako sa September 1 or sa last week of August.

    Ano pa ba ang pwedeng asikasuhin? Yung CFO ba sa Pinas eh talagang kailangan or pwede namang next time?

    @retake andito rin ako sa Sg. Plano ko rin lumipad soon pero sa October pa. Matagal pa grant ko kase naghihintay pa ng FBI clearance from US.

    Ano yung CFO? Yung ibang mga lumipad to Au from Sg parang wala naman masyadong inayos. I-settle mo lang yung income tax mo sa IRAS (or pwedeng through your employer na pag ni-release ka na nila). Siguro sina @vhoythoy and @TasBurrfoot can advise?

    experience ko sa nationwide health systems clinic sa cebu, kahit 3 tests lang ang nasa referral letter ko, inabot talaga akong whole day...weekend pati, tas andami namin nagpapa medicals on that day, 27 kami nakalista, and maraming family visa so isang priority number dami nilang family members; dmai ring form s na e fill out individually kaya mejo natagalan, and talagang 8am - 4pm ako dun sa clinic... wagas ang waiting time...pero medyo organized naman. ;-) gudlak brad!

    I have a few questions. Hope you guys can help me out.

    1. Can you share your experiences for your medical examination? Like, where you had your exam and what are the things you need to bring or whatever things that you can share.

    2. I've seen several times that it's been to delay getting your NBI clearance (particularly, it's better to get it when you've been assigned a Case Officer) since it will affect your IED. How does it affect your IED? Is it because 6 months valid lang ang NBI clearance?

    guys, i just got invited as 190 and started to fill out the forms at online.immi.gov.au. dun sa form it is 17 pages long. i noticed na yung questions sa form ay halos kaparehas sa form 80. i have completed the form but pending for payment na lang. sabi sa status ready for submission daw. is the procedure the same or eto na yung form 80 na web-based na? thank

    Ung CFO (Commission on Filipino Overseas) is a department under ng Office of the President (OP). Sometime ago, through issuance of a presidential decree, it requires na ung mga emigrant na magundergo ng seminar na tinatawag na PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar). Ung taga CFO ang nagprovide ng PDOS sa may office nila sa may Quirino. Its a halfday seminar (2-4:30pm) yata, Madali lang makita office nila kasi nsa intersection lang sa may stoplight ang kulay orange na building. So dapat umattend ka ng PDOS para ung passport mo is madikitan ng CFO sticker.

    Kung manggaling ka sa ibang bansa papunta sa Australia, di mo na need dumaan ng Pinas to undergo PDOS and get CFO sticker. Hinahanap lang nman ung sticker ng mga Pinas Immigration officers. Malakas ang loob nun mga un kasi nga under presidential decree yan PDOS. Ang problema lang nman is pag bumalik ka ulit ng pinas, like for example for a vacation then balik ka australia baka hanapin ng PH immigration ung CFO sticker. Pero alam ko, if thats the case and nanggaling ka na Australia, pwede yata sa Airport mag PDOS/ kumuha ng sticker. I am not so sure, so better kumuha nlang sa PInas if may chance para iwas sakit ulo unless di talga practical.

    experience ko sa nationwide health systems clinic sa cebu, kahit 3 tests lang ang nasa referral letter ko, inabot talaga akong whole day...weekend pati, tas andami namin nagpapa medicals on that day, 27 kami nakalista, and maraming family visa so isang priority number dami nilang family members; dmai ring form s na e fill out individually kaya mejo natagalan, and talagang 8am - 4pm ako dun sa clinic... wagas ang waiting time...pero medyo organized naman. ;-) gudlak brad!

    I have a few questions. Hope you guys can help me out.

    1. Can you share your experiences for your medical examination? Like, where you had your exam and what are the things you need to bring or whatever things that you can share.

    2. I've seen several times that it's been to delay getting your NBI clearance (particularly, it's better to get it when you've been assigned a Case Officer) since it will affect your IED. How does it affect your IED? Is it because 6 months valid lang ang NBI clearance?

    Naka-GIRO naman ang aking Tax so hopefully, okay naman. Tanungin ko na lang rin yung HR namin in case na may ibang kailangan ang IRAS.

    Yung CFO, baka next time ko nalang kunin. Maghanap muna ako trabaho sa Down Under then pag-balik ko sa Pinas, dun nalang ako magpapatatak.

    Grabe, ang bilis ng panahon, naka 3.5 years ako sa Pinas at 3 years rito sa Singapore. Nakakatuwa lang na isipin na panibagong pakikipag-sapalaran na naman ito ng buhay hehe. Ang hirap na rin kasi rito sa Little Red Dot, ang hirap maging Permanent Resident.

    Or ipon pa muna ng konti rito sa Singapore before move there? Kung ipon at ipon talaga, malaki ang matatabi natin rito since mababa ang tax. Mahirap nga lang in case na magka-family rito since mahal ang education at HDB.

    @retake original plan is mgresign ako dito January 30 tapos lipad from Manila to Perth Feb 28 before my IED na March 3.

    Pero since bago pa lang naman ako dito SG, pwede rin ako mag IED this October, ipon mode muna tapos balik ulit SG.

    Susubukan ko rin magpasa pasa ng CV galing dito baka makatalisod tayo ng swerte.

    @cholle - korek! Okay rin na maka-experience rito sa Singapore. Saka malaki ang na-ipon ko rito dahil mababa ang tax at matipid naman ako hehe. Sa Pinas kasi, kahit anong pag-ti-tipid ang ginagawa ko, hindi pa rin ako maka-ipon ng husto.

    @BMM03 - Thanks for sharing kabayan! Yup, ipon mode muna rito dahil mukhang malaki-laki ang gagastusin natin pag-punta natin dun.

    Nag-re-research research nga rin ako ng Average Monthly Living expenses sa Sydney for single person. Kung tama ang budget ko, mga $2,000 AUD ang monthly expenses more or less. Pwedeng mas bumaba ito kung may kamag-anak na pwede matirahan or mas bumaba pa yung weekly rent.

    I think, okay na ang $10,000 AUD na baon plus Credit Cards in case na matagalang makahanap ng work.

    Expecting the worst kung hindi makakuha agad nang trabaho doon. Kaya todo OT ngayon dito pandagdag sa ipon.
