VETASSESS ASSESSMENT - How long?

@pingpong nagsubmit siya sa DIAC dec 2011, visa granted Jan 2012. Nauna lang ako ng ilang months. Nasa pinas pa din siya, wala pa daw plano kung kelan aalis e. Last na usap nga namin, nagdadalawang isip na, pambihira.

@sohc tnx again sa info.. ang bilis pala!! sana ganun din ang case namin.. pero sayang yung opportunity ng friend mo kung di sya aalis! makati based din ba sya dito sa pinas? SA din sya? musta dyan sa SA?

yup sa makati sa valero st kami dati likod ng pbcom tower. Ewan ko dun kung aalis siys o hindi sayang pr visa pag hindi siya umalis.

Kami lang nagasikaso ng papers, since nauna ako nagtatanung lang siya sakin. Diretso sa DIAC dito sa adelaide namin pinadala. Ayoko ng via embassy mas maganda na yung diretso dito mas mabilis at mas sigurado.

question lang po.. my brother in law just received his positive assesment from Vetasses but we submitted ahead of him. Does this mean ours is negative? just kinda worried...

@faa:Don't worry,case to case basis kasi yung pag assess ng Vetassess.If lagpas na 16 weeks you can email them for an update.Nag re-reply naman sila.Good luck

Anyone who had done with the Vetasses assessment, is the assessment based solely on your nominated skill? or do they assign you skill/profession equivalent to that of australia based on your experience and not necessarily your lodged nominated skill?

My question is quite complicated. Ganito na lang - posible ba na magiging outcome ng assessment e iba doon sa skill na pina-assess mo?

@chefin: You must nominate an occupation that is either on the SMP Occupation List (SOL) and assessor evaluates whether or not it is equivalent to that of AU. Vetasses would not nominate it for you. To apply, you must nominate one occupation for the skills assessment. It is important that you choose only one occupation for each application. HTH.

@chiffonscarf - I know that but in my case as a Chef, theres a lot of occupations under this category. Meron Pastry, cook, Commis Chef at iba pa. Sa TRA meron TRADESET to help you evaluate your skills bago maglodge ng application sa Vetasses. Nag email ako sa kanila di naman sumagot.

My concern is, sa Tradeset hindi magkatugma yong mga duties and responsibilities compared sa actual work experience. Like for instance, I can be a Chef (cuisine) but I can also be a pastry chef since this is one of my main duties sa trabaho ko ngayon and yet di naman ako pasok doon sa pastry chef evaluation ng TRADESET dahil may missing duties daw. But then yong core competences ko sa pastry chef ay pasok naman.

My question would be, Nagbibigay ba ng more than one occupation ang vetasses kung applicable sa work experience mo? or they will only assess you based on your nominated occupation?

May nabasa kasi ako matagal na, na meron nagpa assess and it turned out dalawa ang binigay na occupation. If I remember it correctly, it was Industrial Technician and Plant Mechanic.

oh no,hindi na ko humingi=C Akala ko kasi yung full skills assessment covers the qualification and employment.Paano kaya to need ko na naman mag request.Pero naka state kasi sa Vet na optional.

Yung result ng Vet kasi nakalagay naman kung ilang years of experience yung credited dun sa sinubmit.Kaya I am confused bakit need pa ng points test advice.
