Good day everyone!

Me and my girlfriend is in a 2 year relationship now. We are now living together now for the past 6 months. My girlfriend had her nurse IRON bridging program in Melbourne last year around September 2013 and she went back to our country December 2013. Since then, we decided to live together and it was about more than 6 months right now. My girlfriend applied for state nomination for for Vic this March and it was granted. It will be lodge this July 15.
My question is if we are eligible for the defacto visa requirements since we are just living together for more than 6 months, I have read in Aus immigration website that it was not indicated that a couple should satisfy the entire 12 months of living together, such it was stated that within the period of that time a couple must have have lived together. We do have joint bank account under on the same address that was started last january 2014, we do have employment contracts under the same address last january 2014 as well. My NBI clearance is addressed on the same address too. I have an individual health insurance that was addressed to my girlfriends house (which I am currently living right now), and would that help as well? We cannot provide a leasing contract both under our names since we decided to live on her family's home because for a reason that it is more convenient on going to work every day. We do have statutory statements coming from both of our mothers, friends, co-workers stating that our relationship is legitimate. We can provide old photos and present photos on our facebook that indicates the dates of when it was uploaded.

Are these evidence that I have are sufficient enough to satisfy the visa on being approved? Our visa application will start on July 15 and it will expire around first week of August. Any advise would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Sa pagkakaintindi ko po kaai aa de facto rel as stated sa website ng immig, you must satisfy the one yr requirement of living together unless may compelling reasons like kung may anak kayo or kung nasa abroad siya and not possible to live together.nde counted ung kng kailan kayo ng start mg bf/gf. There are a lot of threads here about de facto relationship.i suggest browse2 ka lang but in my humble opinion, risky siya kasi d pa kayo umabot ng one yr living together.

May nabasa ako somewhere that when the case officer reviews defacto relationships, they don't count the "dating period" as the start of the relationship, rather they look for evidence of the period that you have decided to commit seriously and exclusively for the long term. If you can establish that through other means (yung iba through engagement, acquiring property together, etc) then your chances would be better. HTH

    Hello kabayan.
There are only 2 evidence powerful enough the immigration needs... Joint bank aaccount at least 1 year and billing statement showing both of your names in one residential address.
    Hope that helps.
