@bookworm, I've informed them already. For SN 190, you hold permanent residency and there is no visa condition that you can only live in the state that sponsored you. Some would say that the 2-yr commitment is moral obligation and not a legal obligation.

@solidjeff, yup I know, but better to have told NSW immi, para walang aberya mangyari pag mag apply ka na ng citizenship. May mga napauwi na din kasi dahil di nila sinunod yang patakaran na yan. Better to be safe than sorry. Good luck!

sino yung mga pinauwi, SN 190 ba visa nila? Meron kasi mga regional visa na strictly na dun lng sila pwede tlga mgstay.

@czha Try mo pa din na makakuha ng work sa state na sponsor sa yo pra safe pro kung wla tlga at meron job offer from other state then better na i-inform yung state na ngsponsor then i-explain yung situation mo.

Also, if you check your visa grant, NIL ang nkalagay sa Visa Conditions and wlang na-mention na state ng ngsponsor sa yo.

Agree with @solidjeff. Yung visa 489 yung may restrictions. Yung 190 moral obligation lng yun. I think inform m lng yung state. Nagreply b sayo yung nsw @solidjeff?

yeah i think i remember saying this sometime back.
since medyo OT na ito in this thread, pardon me for adding further info to clarify lang on my previous thoughts on this.
i did researched about this last time para i can learn from any PRs who successfully applied Citizenship, and i did found some testimonies in other forums.

While SN190 visa does not specifically indicate this as visa condition (like what @solidjeff said, and naverify ko na din with my grant letter), some state like SA and Vic expect you to respond to quarterly survey to keep them informed of, i suppose, your whereabouts.

Moral obligation lang tlaga sya and I think you will not be given any sanctions if you fail on this commitment (unlike sa 489, visa condition yata talaga sya). So parang magiging personal choice na lang sya, something like.. if in DOUBT, or you simply want to abide by your moral obligation, then fulfill that commitment. Pero if you plan get out of the state (maybe dahil sa circumstances) then do it at your own risk kunbaga

Tama ginawa ni @solidjeff na niadvise nya yun state. They (the sponsoring state) are the only ones who can tell or even release you from that commitment. God bless sa mga nagjojobhunt!
