bihira ung geologist pero u can look at First Quantum Minerals i just saw opening for senior geo
may kakilala ako geologist na aussie sa africa naman siya naka assign
meron din naman geologist job opening pero bihira kaya if ever magpunta kadito e be ready for rejections at normal yan dito sa mga new PR
kaya better dont expect much na makaka land ka agad ng job na gusto mo
karamihan na nagpunta dito na PR e hinde agad agad nakakakuha ng job na gusto nila
wag mo gaano asahan ung EA assessmennt na Professional Engineer wala un for visa purposes lang un...iba pa rin ung strong work experience mo at mga local tickets and certifiication na galing dito sa oz

most of my experience e sa saudi
kaka resign ko lang sa mining company and about to venture sa Power plant operations dito sa WA
if new PR ka and willing to shoulder cost, number 1 na need mo to penetrate mining e working at heights at confined space, around 500 aud yata un or baka mas mura na...package na un...then construction white card, forklift ticket at kung ano ano pa...
if engineer ka at solid naman ang experience mo sa design e go for a design engineering job then eventually magiging project engineer ka na rin nun...
design softwares like revit at solidworks ang kadalasan ginagamit nila dito; hinde solid experience ko sa design at medyo mahina na ako sa calculations kaya hinde ko na tinahak ung pathway na un...mas challenging sa operations and maintenance hehe
also, fyi, mas malaki kita ng mga tradies dito kaya karamihan ng mga engineers dito e nag tradie na lang like operator, fitters, welders and plumbers mas malaki pa ang kitaan hehe
also hinde kinahihiya yan dito...kaya hambalusin mo ung mga feeling engineers kuno ang work dito, palamuti lang ung title nilang un pero ang katunayan e utusan lang sila dun and liit ng sahod ng mga un hehe
also madugo ung chartered status dito...as in!
u can check NER na lang muna if gusto mo talaga magregister as engineer...swak ung mga tickets mo dun sa NER if ever i-honor nila un...engineering pa rin naman un kahit paano
