best car insurance provider? and buying a 2nd hand car with Philippine license help

Hi guys just wanted to ask ano ba yung pinaka-okay na car insurance provider. I was looking at RACQ but still not decided.

And lahat ba kayo pinapabayad ng dagdag na bayad for
"Inexperienced driver excess"
- Driver is 25 years old or more and has held an Australian license for less than 2 years.

Wala namang issue if I'm using a Philippine license diba? As long as wala pang 3 months from arriving in Brisbane?

shop around the internet, i think mas mababa ang premium sa coles insurance, they have car and other types of insurance, try browsing sa webpage nila.
even if u have an australian license, i think may excess payment na babayaran, depende ung amount sa insurer, starts from 500 up..un lng ang pagkaka alam ko...and if u have an AU license, y still use PHP license..may I ask what type of visa do u hold, kung PR ka na, u need to have that license after 3 months of stay...hope this help

Hey guys salamat sa info. Ended up going with RACQ dahil sa roadside service nila.

Still using a Philippine license cause I'm not comfortable taking the tests just yet. Pero actual driving dito ok lang haha

Same question din ako. Mas ok ba kung i-avail din yung mga excess na tinatawag? Dko pa kasi maintindihan kung ano ung mga un. I thought, kapag kumuha ka ng comprehensive insurance, you're good to go na.

Naku, kelangan na kase talaga sis kremitz. Napilitan lang. Kumuha kase ng certificate si hubby sa aged care and kelangan nya pumasok ng maaga. Male-late sha pag nagcommute sha kase 6am pa ang first trip ng bus sa min.

try progressiveonline.com.au, they are cheap but they have some limitations
