    Hello mga kabayan!

Tanong ko lang kung meron ba dito sa community natin na nag-apply ng ACS nila having 2 years work experience sa Pinas in any IT skilled occupation list and was granted positive assessment?

I want to apply as Software Engineer with 2 years and 5 months offshore work experience with BS Computer Science in Section 1 school for my qualification but sabi ng agent ko, kulang daw yung work experience ko offshore. Minimum 3 years daw dapat bago ako maging eligible. Is this true?

Thanks and God bless to all!

May points deduction pa kasi si ACS sa i-susubmit mo na work experience. Minimum of 2 years work deduction. So if you have 3 years work experience, ACS will deduct at least 2 years based sa assessment nila ng work experience mo and qualifications. Ang lalabas, meron ka na lang 1 year official work experience.

agreed. Sayang lang if hindi mo mamaximize yung visa points. Malaki pa naman points yung work experience.

Thanks po for answering my question. The thing is I am now in Australia so currently hindi na ko makakapag-add ng experience for now. My main goal is to have that positive skills assessment even without work experience points. So if 2 years ang idededuct nila, I will only have 5 months work experience which is totally fine with me as long as my previous work experience can be assessed and get the positive skills assessment for Software Engineer occupation. Tama po ba yung thoughts ko? Let me know, thanks po ulit! :)

Yes, I think that's how it will go.
You won't be getting any points though if you have less than 3 years of officially assessed work experience na outside of Australia.

Thank you! Anong mga pinasa niyo bukod sa Diploma and TOR para masupport na kahit papaano na AQF Bachelor or ICT Major ang course mo sa Pinas?

They don’t literally assess the qualification and it’s AQF equivalence. They only have to refer the country education profile to check whether the institution from which the qualification was attained from is under section 1,2 or 3.

    Company X.pdf
    Company Y - part 1.pdf
    Company Y - part 2.pdf

Wala naman naging issue sa assessment sakin

Hello everyone!! silent reader here since 2018. I finally got my result from ACS and it is positive! This forum helped me big time in lodging my acs application. My bachelor falls in section 3 but they assessed it as AQF Bachelor degree so they only deducted me 2 yrs of work experience. Thank you Lord! macclaim ko pa yung work experience ko sa pinas huhu. Maraming maraming salamat po sa inyo!

    P.S.

Try to get whatever proof you have. Yung case ko combination ng mga proof of income---sa mga years na wala akong payslip, meron ako SSS / Pag ibig screenshots plus COE with compensation.

You only need to show the last 10 years. Please refer to the guide as it tells you exactly what documents you can provide

No need if you think lahat naka-indicate dun. Read through the guidelines

Statutory Declaration - in lieu only if work reference letter with JD is not available.
Payment Evidence - you can use your ITRs and SSS Contributions. Worked for me, though I submitted my Payslips too.

Kahit working ba sa Singapore SSS contributions ba pede as payment evidence.

Yung employer ko ang nagrelease nun sakin, in my case. So, better confirm with your agency.

DIY all the way. Avoid preachy, know-it-all, and unscrupulous agents AT ALL COSTS!

Hi, I have an experience with this case. Since my employer won't provide job description, but just the regular COE, they provided a separate letter stating why they can't provide the work reference. Then I a submitted statutory declaration (notarized) plus CoE of declarant of Stat Dec. HTH.

    Thanks @Jkookie! that’s helpful!
the letter that you provided, was it like an official letter with company letterhead?
Another question is what if the company was already dissolved that’s why di na ko makakakuha ng explanation? will the stat declaration suffice in that case?

the letter that you provided, was it like an official letter with company letterhead?
Another question is what if the company was already dissolved that’s why di na ko makakakuha ng explanation? will the stat declaration suffice in that case?

Yes po. Yung previous company ko, they provided the official letter with company letterhead and contact details. As to those na dissolved na yung company, hindi ko na po alam. Baka meron ditong mas may alam kung paano ginawa nila. Thanks. All the best!

Hi! If mag susubmit ako ng COE with detailed job description, need pa ba mag statutory declaration?

No need if you think lahat naka-indicate dun. Read through the guidelines

Hello po, question, dapat ba ang Statutory Declaration should be signed nung supervisor and notarized on the same day? Yung sakin kasi is 2 days after pa nanotarize after masign nya. Hindi na napalitan yung date.
