    hello, tanong ko lang kasi i'm system engineer for 2 years and IT global service desk (helpdesk) for 3 years and 2 years IT technical support supervisor. im confuse kung ako dapat kong e apply na visa 190 or Skilled - Nominated or Sponsored (Provisional) (subclass 489) visa - i need your opinion po. salamat ng marami. plan ko muna kukuha ng ielts tapos after nun process ng mga docs.

    ano pong balak nyong inominate na occupation? ideally, mas maganda kung 190 visa ang maapply mo para PR na agad.

    @coachella9 - me mga nabasa ako na nag-RPL na dito nakahingi na nga ako ng template, I think I also need to do that pero inaantay ko pa ang assessment ni ACS. Balitaan kita, stage 4 with assesor pa din ako.

    Hi everyone, ask ko Lang po Kasi non I.T. yung course ko accounting pero I started my career as information technology consultant focusing with SAP accounting module with 5 years and 4 months experience. Need your advice Kung I pursue ko na mag pa assess with acs. I do have ITIL v3 cents and sap training certs din. Thanks! :)
    Hi @coachella9, I've recently complete my ACS assessment via RPL, and based on what I know minimum of 6 years ang required for RPL, plus you also have to consider the number of years ka na nag-college kasi may computation ang acs about education like if you got 2 year course you need another 2 years on top of the minimum 6 years to be successful on your RPL. Anong ANZSCO occupation ba ang balak mo inominate? Thanks!

    I submitted 18 March, I don't know though how long it will be in this stage as I read some of the comments here na bumabalik pa sa stage 3 minsan.

    @rguez06 Hello po, balak ko pong kunin is System Analyst since buong IT experience ko is SAP Consulting. Ito po yung code na napili ko 261112 - System Analyst. Upon looking sa Description in ACS swak naman po yung Job descriptions sa mga ginagawa ko ngayon.

    Nakita ko lang sa isang section ng ACS website:

    261112 - System Analyst.
    Evaluates processes and methods used in existing ICT systems, proposes modifications, additional system components or new systems to meet user needs as expressed in specifications and other
    documentation.

    Example knowledge and technical requirements::
    SQL
    Visual Basic, C++ and Java
    Unified Modelling Language (UML)
    SAP Business Software applications

    Sa choice sa taas ng fafall ako under SAP Business Software Applications

    Capabilities that we might expect in this role: Lahat itong sa ilalim ginagawa ko po.
    Systems design
    Database/repository designs
    Solutions architecture
    Consultancy

    Hi @coachella9, Yup certifications will help your acs application since your qualification (Education) can't be assessed by acs. I think they are considering certifications. You can also inquire from ACS if irerecognize nila yung mga certifications mo and you won't need to undergo RPL. My 2 cents would be send acs an inquiry with your certifications and ask about if you still need to undergo RPL. Mabait naman ang ACS they will reply to your inquiry. Hope this helps! Thanks!

    @coachella9, 2 year course lang po ako, Information Technology from Meralco Foundation Institute. ACS doesn't recognize non-tertiary qualifications kaya I'm trying to find out if VETASSESS can assess my qualifications against their standards so I can claim points sa education. Thanks!

    Hello po, ask ko lang po yung hubby ko 7years and 6 months na ang work experience. Is it advisable po ba intayin namin na maka-8 years sya ng work experience bago kami maglodge ng assessment sa ACS? Thanks!

    ICT degree po ba husband nyo? also, na-check nyo na ba kung ilang points na kayo more or less? :)

    @hotshot yes, actually po, he's also an Analyst Programmer and currently here in SG. :) iniisip kasi namin antayin namin mag-8yrs sya sa work experience para additional 5 points. Mas higher points much better di ba? Ngayon ang question, pag nagpa-assess na kme sa ACS 10pts lang ibibigay nila (if positive ang feedback) then kung naka-8yrs na experience na si hubby pag nag-EOI na kmi still 10pts lang ba ang counted since yung assessment sa ACS eh wala pang 8yrs. Sorry medyo magulo ata explanation ko.. Hehe

    - after lumabas ang result ng ACS assessment for 7yr 6mos work exp, at kung hindi aalis si hubby sa current work nya at umabot ng 8 yrs for the EOI, pwede nyo na i claim ang 15pts=8yrs work exp.. (of course assuming na positive ang assessment ng ACS at na count ang work exp)
    - you need updated employment docs to show to your CO (pag na invite na kyo for visa application) na continuous pa rin ang employment nya (payslip, COE+JD, etc).. to claim yung 8 yrs
    - awarding of EOI pts for work exp is "at the time of invitation", meaning kung anung meron kayong points na pwdeng i claim pag na invite na kayo...

    Sep 9, 2013 - Started work with the same company i worked for in UAE/USA
    Oct 28, 2013 - Moved to another company.. ;)
