Child Visa (Subclass 101)

nag apply ako ng Child Visa for my son last July 2016, until now, wala pa rin. PR na both parents and living in Australia since October 2016. para maisama namin si baby, kinuha ko siya ng visit visa, and until now, naka visit visa pa din. nag inform naman ako sa immigration na nandito sa australia ang applicant. almost every month nag e-email ako sa immigration asking for an update kasi 18 months na, wala pa rin. wala naman silang hiningi na additional information.

hi @cmlascano, thanks for sharing your timeline. Nung nag lodge po ba kayo kasama na agad yung Police certificates ng sponsors (parents)? In our case, kailangn namin kumuha ng NBI clearance, at Singapore Police.

Child visa (child born out of wedlock)

Hi everyone! Hopefully someone could answer me in this page.

I have a 7 yr old child born out of wedlock. He is carrying my last name NOT his fathers’ last name and his father DID acknowledged/signed it at his birth certificate). His Dad never supported him since he was born. My parents supported me and my son, even until now. My son is living and under the care of my Mom since the day I left to go here. I am now married and holding my permanent residency. Since I got married, my husband supports my son and we send money to him for his needs.

My first question is, is it possible if I can sponsor my son even if our source of income is from my husband only because I am not working yet because my husband and I had a child thus, I am looking after our kid for now.

Second, do I still have to get a consent from my son’s Dad for the consent even if it states from the Philippine Law that the parental authority is with the mother? The law says here — Family Code of the Philippines, and is from Article 176 of the Code:

“Illegitimate children shall use the surname and shall be under the parental authority of their mother, and shall be entitled to support in conformity with this Code. However, illegitimate children may use the surname of their father if their filiation has been expressly recognized by the father through the record of birth appearing in the civil register, or when an admission in a public document or private handwritten instrument is made by the father.”

Third, what are the documents you’ve submitted or the immigration asked to make the visa processing quick?

If someone please share your experiences and details as I am so confused where to start and I’m in a dilemma if it would be complicated to bring him here (like court orders or court hearings and will cost us a lot of money, if this applies to my situation). We would like to get my child to here as soon as possible. Please enlighten me. Thank you!

Hi everyone, im applying for this visa as well and i just want to get some advice from anyone who successfully applied for this visa. This is in regards with the payment of this visa application. Does it have to be managers check dapat lang ang payment? Or pwede cash? if managers check lang ang option lang how do i get one? And also pwede ba yung check is payable in australian dollars? I calculated kasi na mas mura yung visa fee if you pay it on dollars instead of converting it to peso. Any help.you can provide will be much appreciated. Thanks

Ask ko lang po un mga nagpasa ng docs personally certified true copies ba un pinasa nyo? or same as online application, ok na na scanned copies of original?

@pilot_marker yes po kasama na yung mga original PCC nung naglodge kami.

@cmlascano salamat sa response. Kami baka mag lodge kami ng walang police clearance, kasi sa Singapore, kailangan meron documentary proof kung para saan gagamitin yung PCC.

Any Update on the current timeline of the approval of Child Visa 101 here?
Based from the current approval processing time it is 11-16 months.
But been reading come of the turn around time is around 3 months up.
We just applied last moth and were able to complete all the requirements lastweek (Immig received PCC).
I emailed them (Immig) to ask whether th ereceived everything already, been 2 days and received the PCC, but no reply yet, I'm not sure if they will reply though.
Hope to here some timeline here, as we need to officially move there by early next year.

12 June 2018 - Receipt of Visa 101 Application & Immigration request for Medicals & PCC
13 June 2018 - Emailed the receipt of Medical (which was completed earlier) & receipt of the payment thru (immiaccount)
15 June 2018 - Police Certificate Application
5 July 2018 - Receipt of the registered Mail of the Police Certificate
10 July 2018 - Email regarding the Receipt of the Police Certificate.

Good day po. Anong visa po ba ang pwedeng iapply sa baby na pinanganak sa pinas tapos yung magulang parehong visa 489 ang hawak? Then ang baby hindi naideclare sa visa 489 application dati as subsequent applicant.

Hi, anyone po na nakaexperience napo, Im applying for student visa for July take in but gusto ko sana isama na family ko 2 kids 8 and 2 yrs and si husband sa visa application, kaso baka magprob daw, will they request for show money or kahit affidavit of support lang from our 2 sponsors? hello mga kabayan,need ko lang help/advice gusto ko kasi papuntahin yong mga kids ko dito im on bridging A visa pa po at nilagay ko sila dependent dun.kakarequest lng ng immi pra sa medical nila.Ano ba dapat kong gawin eapply muna sila as a tourist or if maaproved yong visa ko automatic na ba din sila makapunta dito or need ko pa din eapply sila ng ibang visa?sana po may makatulong..salamat sa lahat and godbless...

Hi po, need help and advice po mga kabayan. Naka BVA po ako ngayon sponsored by my aussie husband (we just applied partners visa last year) and gusto po namin mag asawa na kunin na rin anak ko which is 12 years old nasa pinas (anak ko po sa pagka dalaga at wla po sa birth certificate nya ang name ng biological father). No urgent to travel nman po pero mas ok sana mailodge ang application ng maaga. May 2 po sana ako na itatanong:

1. nung nag check kami sa website, na confuse kami which visa ang kelangan kc meron po tourist visa $300+ ang fee, meron naman tourist visa $145 (which the same visa na ginamit ko dati) and family stream tourist visa $145 under po yan lahat ng subclass 600 medyo nakakalito. Tama po ba ang second option na tourist visa $145 since pareho lang nman descirption ng family stream visa? May nakapg sabi po kc na mas madali ang tourist visa kesa sa family stream tourist visa kc marami hinihingi eh bata lang nman ang iaaply.

2. plan po namin ibridge ang visa nya after 3 months pag dating nya dito. anong visa po ang pwede? meron kami nakita na Dependent Child Visa 445 which is okay naman po since ako naman ang parent, kaso plan po namin mag asawa na ichange rin last name ng anak ko para lahat kami isa lang ang gagamitin na apelyido (iaadopt po xani hubby legally), tama po ba na ibrige sa Adoption Visa subclass 102 kaya lang ang nakalagay eh "outside Australia" eh by that time "inside Australia" na sya. And meron din po option na Child Visa subclass 102 which is ok naman din kc dependent naman din sya ni hubby since ng papadala kmi for her sa pinas kaya lang "be a dependent child of a parent" eh step parent po si hubby until iadopt nya. Kaya confuse po if alin sa tatlo ang ibi bridge after the tourist and alin sa tourist visa ang i-apply namin. Please enlighten me.

Hello po, worried po ako about my child visa 101. (Im 23 yrs old) dependent full time student.
Nag lodge po ako nung november 14, 2019 ng email sila ng Nov 18, 2019 for medical request.
Nag pa medical po ako this Dec.10, 2020 kasi hindi po agad nabasa ang email up until now wala pa rin allocated case officer na kumocontact sa akin, hindi ko rin alam kung kanino ako mag papasa ng further documents. Thankyou.

Hi, pwede magpa-guide sa paano o ano step gagawin sa pag apply ng subclass 101, sponsor (father) magprocess o pasa ng mga doc for application ng visa. Thanks sa pag asiste ❤
