Does Skill Assessment Needed When Looking For A Job?

REDRED PerthPosts: 391Member
guys tanong ko lang kung kailangan ba ng skill assessment to find a job in Australia? I'm asking this because my partner is a dependent in our application and we didn't need to have her skill assessed before since we are not going to claim for partner skills. She's a programmer and worried lang ako na baka hanapan siya ng skill assessment. I guess this will be relevant to all professionals not just for programmers.

I will appreciate all your inputs :)

Not really needed. Most employers aren't even aware that we actually undergo a skills assessment. They didn't even know I took the IELTS, they were like, "what's that?" Hehe

Talaga cholle? Haha. But yeah, employers won't care about the skills assessment. Basta CV lang and yung cover letter.

tama...wala sila pakialam sa skills assessment...ang importante sa kanila e yung CV at cover letter mo...at yung Visa mo...

at ang importante rin sa kanila e ung Certificate na na-acquire mo dito and to some e ung mga certain tickets na kukunin mo dito, then plus factor na rin yung may drivers license ka at may own transportation ka dito...
