    @lock_code2004 oo nag print ako nung booklet para may guide.. sa pag gawa lang ng CDR tlga ako nahirapan.. atleast kung meron sample format to follow malaking tulong na rin.. GOD Bless po at maraming salamat sa tulong nyo.. :)

    Engineer kaming mag asawa at maayos naman ang sahod, comfortable ang buhay at nakakaipon naman.

    Tanong lang para sa mga nasa Australia na galing UAE...

    Saan mas comfortable, dyan o dito sa UAE.

    Engineer kaming mag asawa at maayos naman ang sahod, comfortable ang buhay at nakakaipon naman.

    Tanong lang para sa mga nasa Australia na galing UAE...

    Saan mas comfortable, dyan o dito sa UAE.
    define comfortable? heheh..
    very subjective po yan..
    example..mas comfortable sa UAE, mabilis makahanap ng flat na uupahan, at pumara ng taxi sa daan.. maraming malls, shops na bukas kahit anong oras..

    pero ang masasabi ko lang.. depende po yan sa kung anu ba ang gusto nyo sa buhay..
    for your family and/or your kids in the future..

    example, if ever, wala ng work sa UAE, babalik ba kayo sa pinas?
    anung lifestyle ang gusto nyo? govt benefits? retirement? medical care?

    ako kaya nagdecide na magpunta dito, gusto ko ng permanent na lugar (aside from phils)..
    malinis na hangin.. magandang climate, wala masyadong stress.. etc..

    maraming consideration.. pero think of one thing na gusto mo mangyari sa buhay mo..
    kung okay na kayo dyan for the rest of your life...
    maraming dapat isipin for migration.. gastos, prepare documents...at yung big move to find a job here..

    malaking risk.. pero at the end, i can speak for my self na I did the right choice.. ;)

    depende tlaga sa skill/industry mo..
    swertehan din.. in general 2-3months ang intayan sa paghanap ng work..
    meron mga days/week lang nakahanap na..

    @arrow1, like what @lock_code2004 have said… iba iba nag definition natin ng term na comfortable. we are also a couple working here in Dubai as architects and is employed in one of the best consulting firms in the UAE and I can say na we are earning good salaries. we are staying in a flat na walang ka-share, may sasakyan and is able to enjoy life like occasional travels, dining etc. but at the end of the day, napapaisip pa din kami. if we are to sum it up ang laki pa din ng expenses namin kasi nandito and mga bata nag aaral and i can say na hindi biro magpaaral ditto especially na may college na kami. like we are spending 43K dirhams for my daughter, buti na lang yung bunso ko nasa Filipino school kaya nasa 10K++ lang tuition fee lang. pero we'd rather have them here kesa pauwiin sa pinas kaya break even lang sa sweldo kasi ditto din namin ginagastos young sweldo namin. siguro kung ipapadala sa pin as ang para eh malaki talaga but that's not the case.

    and one down side na nakikita namin here is since related and industry namin sa construction affected madalas ng crisis or recession. and common fear namin mag asawa is pano pag nag downsize ang companies like ng nangyari few years back although luckily hindi kami nakasali dun. siguro ngayon in the advent of expo 2020 baka mag iba ang path ng construction industry.pero it doesn't matter na to us… we are after good education for our children in oz and a better future for them. ika nag, we'll sac rice our good jobs here for our children's sake para when it's their time, they will not experience the hassles os visa application

    so having all that as considerations, we have decided to risk our jobs and try the oz dream at least there, we can settle permanently without the fear na pay wala na laming visa eh papauwiin kami ng pinas.

    @arrow1 Hi... We came from Dubai.. Last year lang kami nagmove... Well coming from Dubai... I pressume you already have your own gauge of living... Maraming pinalad sa atin sa Dubai... Depende kung saan ka pupunta sa oz... What i suggest is ask urself whats ur goal and focus on it... Then kahit saan pa eh u will strive to achieve it. Tama sabi nila dito..

    For my own situation... Galing akong DEWA worked for 9 years with my family dyan. Living comfortably. Pero siguro not yet as comfortable sa iba nating kabayan dyan.
    Sa akin my decision to move is long term plan... The benefits of getting citizenship.. Para sa mga bata at hindi na sa akin... Kasi sabi ko pagba ang mga anak ko nagtrabaho mag aabroad din sila? Malamang... Its better to have a different passport oz.. Not because di ko mahal pinas but for stratrgic purposes lang...

    But it is a new beginning.. A new start..many challenges.. Di pwedneg i compare what u have now kapag nag uumpisa ulit... Kasi if u do.. Iisipin mong bumalik ng Dubai hehe... U have to set your mind and focus on your goal. By saying mag uumpisa ka ulit..siguro u need to mke sure yung transisition would be easier...like its better if u could get a job from there once u have ur visa..apply ka from there.. So at least di ka mababakante pagdating mo dito...mga bagay tulad nuon..marami pa silang isasuggest dito..

    Pero syrmpre sabi nila dami risk... Kahut saan meron nun... It is really up to us eh. Anyway just sharing my opinion.

    Anyway, sana kami rin ma-overcome namin yung challenges ng pag-start ng bagong buhay dyan sa Au. Nung pumunta po ba kayo dyan may work na agad kayo?

    @langgam37 magpatay ka ng ac.. Ewan ko lang..nyahahaha lol..biro lang po. Mabuti po kung ganun... Ganito po ang ginawa ko.. Ang sabi ko sa sarili ko nung nakuha ko ang visa panalo ako either way... Dahil anytime may mangyari sa dubai may malilipatan ako...pero kung bigla akong aalis papuntang oz talo ako sayang ang kikitain ko dyan sa dubai..since i have 1year before i enter... Mas doble ang sipg na ginawa kong mag apply ng wotk from dubai pa lang..apply ng apply... Dasal kasama rin syempre.. Then my prayers were answered kaya nga siguro im one of those na blessed kasi sinnundo ako from airport ng amo ko :-) . I got my visa july.. I got a few interviews via phone... And isa po dun ay nagustuhan ako at sa gobyerno din po parang Dewa...

    Kaya po yan... Marami pong pilipinong mabait dito... Mabait din naman oz. Syempre depende sa atin yun di ba?

    tanong ko lng po. after your visa grant yun Initial entry nyo diretso settle down n b sa AU?
    or balik po muna sa UAE ipon ng unti then after 2-3 years settle na sa AU.
    ano pong maadvice nyo?
    kc currently may monthly amortization po kme sa pinas for a small lot. at wala pang masyadong ipon. pang AU. ano pong mas maganda, entry muna then balik ipon (2-3 years) or benta yun lupa, entry and settle na po s AU?
    kc kung papaano po medyo makakaipon po kme dto , plus may 3 kiddos pa po, kaya walang ipon pa.
    asking lng po. hoping ma visa grant in god's will, po para makapaghanda. kung ano ggawin move po

    hi @spawn08, happy new year! Sa case namin, nag-initial entry muna kami and balik muna ulit sa UAE at mag-ipon pa ng konti. Mahirap talaga maka-ipon sa UAE lalo na pag kasama ang kiddos. Konting hintay na lang yan at maga-grant din ang visa nyo. Anong line of work nyo po pala?

    hello po @langgam37 . thanks for advice. kahit po na wala pa kmeng visa at nag aayos pa lng ng medical nbi at pcc, medyo nag-iisip na po ng plan kung pano makakaipon at pano mag-start ng new life dun. advance planning po.. hehehe.. in god's will ,mabiyayaan kme ng visa.
    mahirap po kc walang baon po s AU. plus maliliit pa mga anak namin. at mahirap makaipon tlga. daming babayaran.
    ang line po work ko po nasa construction po.kaya up and down po kme ngayon dto sa office kabado kung may trabaho bukas or sa isang araw medyo matumal ngayon construction e. at si hubby po e nasa petro naman po.

    sana po umulan at bumagyo ng visa this year at para lahat ng mga nag-aayos e mabiyayaan ng visa. god bless po sa lahat.
